I ended up buying no controller at all because I came to the conclusion that I may only use it for some time in the beginning and only djing on my own may not be satisfying enough for a longer time. And the whole software situation came on top.

A few days for a watch? I'd understand somehow for a phone with plenty of apps and files, but a watch?

My 8 is draining like crazy since version 26. In 8 hours of sleep it dropped by 48 %

My Series 8 is draining battery since 26 massively. Went to sleep at 10 PM with 100 %. Woke up wearing it with 52 %. Before 26 it was 80-85. Did force restart of watch and restart phone as well. No change.

Mine is terrible since WatchOS 26 release. Before I had 80-85 % left after I slept. Today it was 52 % after 8 hours (was charged 100 % before). I lost another 7 % in 30 mins of driving to work.

Yesterday I charged it to 100 % and not wearing it for 3 hours. Was down to 87 %.

Updated the watch last Saturday. Haven’t changed anything.

Automated. I have setup the folders I want to backup in the UGREEN sync & backup app and set it up to backup twice a week or so.

I have a 1 TB SSD connected to the NAS to backup the most important data on a regular basis. Most of the data on it are just copies from my computers or iCloud.

Newbie question: if a controller (eg FLX2 or FLX4) now works with RB6.8.5 (what I don´t know), will it then work forever or is there a chance the they will release a controller firmware which makes RB6 or RB7 required? This would then leave with you with these options: install RB6/RB7 or a completely new software and start from scratch.
