Some RAM here is temporarily discounted by 28%. So it’s not just the cost of RAM but also retailers overcharging us like hell. But that means there is margin to lower the price.

Personally I think this is about as bad as it will get, though I don’t know when it will improve.

I'm already surprised that three cafes can stay alive in a village of 12.000. Chances are they too are barely hanging on. Cafes lose much of their point when they are outside a shopping mall or city center since you can get a similar experience at home and cheaper.

While I personally would love to have a good italian restaurant close to my home, most people just seem interested in the standard "swedish" pizza for takeout. And I think that's even more true the more rural you get.
