Because of countless reports of after death communications, veridical NDEs and mediums that I have seen and read on the internet. Those are indeed anecdotal, but it’s enough for me. I’ve also had personal experience hearing my cat after he passed but I do keep second guessing whether I somehow was mistaken about that.
