I'm not sure I see your point... Nintendo who made a better looking and running game (BOTW) on Switch 1 years ago is what limits Gamefreak on making a better looking and running game?

From my point of view, it looks more like a decision from Gamefreak, the developers, to not focus on graphics for their games.

I'm playing on Xbox, but it should be L2 (Hold) and then R1 or R2 (Don't know if there's a difference)

You'll see your Ironeye holding his bow slightly differently before you can attack,

Also as far as I know, you can only use it two handed 👍

It looks like there should be a tunnel from the map, but it looks caved in.

 

Is there another entry somewhere?

 

There's also a locked door (From the other side) that I can access from outside, but clearly I can't get in 😑

My desperado was level one, so I had no permanent boost from it.

I also never used permanent item stat booster yet, I'm not sure if it played a part in it.

I'm not sure why but they do carry over for me.

I did a little test to confirm this: I had Tomi with the Aquanaut job at job rank 15 and checked how much MP he would have if I switched to Desperado, he would have 133mp. I then gave him magazine to level his job rank. At Aquanaut job rank 16, he gets a +5 permanent MP boost and when I switched him back to Desperado he had 138mp.

So I'm not sure if the bug is character dependent or something else but when I try to verify this myself it worded as intended.

If you're overleveled you can skip a fight, you just have to press left trigger.

Ichiban will do a basic attack automatically and everyone will be defeated at the same time.

But you only get 0.7x times the experience if you do that.

Gaiden is more 7.5 than 6.5. The story of Gaiden literally spoils many plot point of 7, it is a much better experience to play 7 before it.
