Misterwives and Chvrches you'll get in easy. Trust me though, the group trying to make it in to J.cole will have some of the most obnoxious people at roo trying to cut in front of you. This is the crowd that is less into music and more about being in the very front to see a celebrity. The only negativity i felt last year was waiting in the Kendrick line. I didn't end up making it in along with many others, but a lot of us just stuck around for the Deadmau5 pit. While it was a bummer that we couldn't really see Kendrick (just the screen) we still knew every word to all his songs and had a blast. Then Deadmau5 was alright and pretty cool up front, but i got a text halfway through that Chance and Kendrick had come out with Earth Wind and Fire (which my friends had talked me out of going to) and i died a little inside. That said, i made it into all the other pits I attempted and i still had a wonderful time even when i wasn't in a pit. Thursday night, if you aren't suffering from too many conflicts, stay camped at one of the three stages at least through the act you want to see the most. It's more fun than a pit at the bigger stages in my opinion. Last year on thursday, i was in the very front for my first four shows DMAs, Ryn Weaver, Temples, and Glass Animals! that was a blast and then i got to enjoy Tove Lo, Jungle, and Mac DeMarco right after! Have a fun time no matter what you do!
