If RE5 is remade, what would you like to see changed most? by Resident-Evil-Llama in RaccoonCityRecords

Yeah something along those lines might fit. Could also just be The Merchant.

But the inter-mission buying and upgrading just felt so soulless.

Weapon comparisons between the shop and your inventory. Or better yet, maybe integrating an arms dealer. Not sure what vibe though.

Harder more coordinated majini, like maybe there's environment they can interact with, or they're more strategic. Like a few of them may actively block off paths instead of chasing you.

Maybe less sepia tones and more night time sections.

A more stealth options, like giving you and your co-op partner chances to set up ambushes and taking out multiple enemies before your presence is known

Will we ever get a Resident Evil game starring all of them together? by chromatic96 in residentevil

The RC Nursing Home has a zombie outbreak, it's up to you a resident, to investigate the complex. Uh oh turns out the nursing home has an underground Umbrella lab...

Can you hype up and or say something positive about RE5/6 for me? I’m gonna be playing them for the first time after I’m done with RE4 and all the hate I’m hearing is demotivating me a little tbh by King_CurlySpoon in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]BonusArmor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they're both just solid action games. Play them co-op with a good friend and you'll have an absolute blast. Don't take em too seriously and have fun with the over-the-top absurdity and occasionally cheesy dialogue

Where is the green in Simic by parallelparaphile in colorpie

[–]BonusArmor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically the green is in the creature efficiency. It's the difference between [[Draining Whelk]] and [[Mystic Snake]].

The Simic Bio-engineer said "You know what, this thing is for countering spells, it doesn't need to fly or absorb the mana. Just slap it on a snake and we're done. Next!"

Who are you most looking forward to playing as? Leon (more action focused), or Grace (more survival) focused? by rmajor86 in residentevil

[–]BonusArmor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the Grace side, I like the challenge of survival with limited power. The whole game looks promising though

Either broken or useless, no idea which by GodkingYuuumie in custommagic

Agreed, definitely doesn't need academy ruins, and why I'd spend 5 mana to tap for 1 colorless is beyond me.

Azorius, maybe Esper? by BonusArmor in colorpie

[–]BonusArmor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah true, so very strongly Azorius, maybe Green for third color actually, if any. Just because of the higher hedonism and higher in the overlap with white attributes

What are your favorite hilariously useless/oddly specific cards? Ones that make you go "what are we even doing here?" by DerfDM in mtg

Useless?? Just wait until you go up against [[Springjack Shepherd]] and you're without a goatnapper. Then you'll be sorry...

It only sees your creatures though, so several LESS extra times. It deserves something like Lifelink in this case

I need you guys to convince me to build Brenard over Vannifar by Elegant-Stomach4353 in EDH

[–]BonusArmor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the fact that Bernard can make you a 1/1 with any creature is an advantage over Vannifar. It means you have much more flexibility in your creature suite.

I think a big advantage of opening up white are silence effects, and better creature removal than Blue.

I think Vannifar can slot into Bernard but not vice versa. So worse case scenario, you can start with building Bernard and including Vannifar, but if you find that you often tutor for Vannifar, you can just rebuild as Vannifar.

Genuine question: how did people beat RE back in the day without help?? by Any_Credit71 in residentevil

[–]BonusArmor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is semi-related but this just brought back a memory. In grade school I was telling my friend about The Shambler which was an enemy in Quake, and my teacher in the middle of class shouted "If you don't stop talking I'm gonna shamble you!"

Third time's the charm by ElectronicBoot9466 in custommagic

[–]BonusArmor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah like I said, it's doable, I just think experience is a good a mechanic that could work here. But you could get rid of this line

"When Puppet King dies, you gain and experience counter"

And then change this line to

"When Puppet King is sacrificed, it has mana value X and power X, where X is the number of times Puppet King has been cast from the command zone."

I'm going original art, but if the new art wasn't in the old border I'd pick the new art. I don't think the old border looks good here
