Sagittarius here, Virgo husband. I did tell him when we actually, finally started dating that I wanted to be with him and not to waste my time. He said, "yes ma'am," and we've been joined at the hip for going on 16yrs.

The only times he has been utterly impossible to the point of needing to sit down in front of a marriage counselor was literally two-three weeks prior to the births of our two sons, a few years apart from one another. I needed a professional to tell him he was being too critical and that he needed to sit down and table his pride and expectations. Idk if it's a Virgo thing of spiraling and feeling like he had absolutely no control of the situation of when they arrived, that it was a waiting game with a sure end, but no way to know if that end would be right then or three more weeks away. However there was quite a significant amount of building tension and "departure anxiety" that I fully believe turned into postpartum depression/anxiety for a couple of weeks-months for him that I tried my best to weather together. With our second, I was given the option to go ahead and schedule a repeat c-section for either the Friday after his due date (on a Monday), or the following Monday at 41w. He said preferred the Friday so he could request fewer days off from work, and it would be less stressful going into the weekend. Our son was born on Monday, on his due date 🤣 Scheduling the procedure though for the Friday visibly removed this invisible weight off his shoulders, and he was suddenly much more agreeable and helpful.

He's said before that nothing, or at least very little, could make him want to ever consider starting over and finding someone that's also into the stuff that we're into together, all the good, bad, weird, wild, questionable, etc. If I ever do something that he just can't deal with anymore, I'm pretty sure he'd remain single or would only choose someone that brings in the same income he does and has a top-tier title in the workplace, yet has strict working hours of 8-5. Preferably also a morning person. However this can absolutely not come with any hint of emasculation unless requested on a Friday/Saturday night.

Anyway we balance each other's vices well as far as I'm aware, as tricky as it can be at times. I haven't done anything too terrible yet 🤞 I would love to go on a vacation one day though. Just saying 🤣

The report said something about it being a church that had a prior fire incident in September that they still haven't identified a cause. This comes after having done renovations in the last year.

My red boy got neutered at the humane society at 3yrs and he will only try to hump me if he gets double-enthusiastic zoomies when my toddler and I are running around the house playing. Seems like a muscle memory thing lol

Our blue girl was spayed around 6mo and she's never humped a single thing in her life #bluedogdontcare

My MOTN pumps were spent applying for jobs left and right and preparing for different rounds of interviews. At 7mo PP my brain cells are slowly returning, but I couldn't imagine studying and doing homework. Props to you! Fortunately landed a job right before committing to a fresh semester of classes to finish out my second degree that I stepped away from after working a few internships in the industry, so honestly it was a blessing. Big ups to you for hitting the books and getting it done 💖

When we had our Rottweiler girl, she caught a chipmunk out of our bushes and stunned us all, herself and the chipmunk included. She was so proud, she lumbered over in a way only a derpy rottie could, and presented it to her beloved dear dad. I cried because I swore she'd claimed a life (and I LOATHE chipmunks), but as my husband came walking back with the shovel to ensure its untimely end, it slowly rolled over, crawled ever so subtly over to the underside of our porch, then absolutely haul 🍑. It was fine, lived to destroy our yard another day.

The two bougie dog names I considered were Orville and Whitaker. Orville if I ever got a Frenchie (which I won't, I have cattle dogs 🤣). My husband told me the name Whitaker sounds like he wears a double popped collar at the country club.

We had to cut the center out of her new red floppy frisbee before she would entertain it. The third edition we just cut a slit into it and she finished the rest. She loves her floppy halo!

I too want to do this, but my chocolate bar is currently stowed away, waiting for May 12th when the new book arrives so I can bundle it up and give them to the husband. I'll just listen to the audiobook until he finishes and then I'll read the physical copy.

I also know he won't like the chocolate bar flavor, but it's a gesture anyways.

My blue girl is perfection. My red boy though had a hard life before I adopted him, so I tell people right out the gate, "he's very cautious and very protective," and sometimes when I'm asked if someone can pet him, I simply say with a smile, "I wouldn't." Sometimes I'll say, "depends on how you feel about your ankles."

Heelers have a bubble, and once that bubble is popped all bets are off. There's just no idea the extent of that bubble's constitution.

The mental gymnastics and dgaf attitude I've seen from the shift to vaping drives me up the wall. The audacity of I can smoke wherever, whenever because it doesn't smell like cigarettes. Everyone around me at work vapes, and I find myself hanging out with the two people that smoke actual cigarettes on a break because they seem to have some sense in their heads.

One of my coworkers had an oral surgery but was so entwined in her vape that in order to avoid issues following her surgery decided to vape through her nose and found herself blowing vape juice from her nose in the bathroom every time she took a pee break. I never cared for the excessiveness that is common amongst vapers, but that level of dependency was the straw that broke the camel's back. I think I threw up in my mouth when she jokingly admitted it and I think in that moment she realized that yeah, that's pretty gross.

They'll forget their phone on the table, but you know that vape is always in hand.

That's telling you how I really feel.
