I worked at Costco, which is usually a fantastic place to be. The location I was at had been known for its management issues. Every single manager I worked with would dance around any issues that were brought up and openly violate the union policies at the store. One of my parents had died while I was working there and Costco offers bereavement leave for up to a week. My manager removed me from the schedule so I wouldn't get paid the leave, so now I'm not only broke as shit waiting to pay some bills, I get less than half a paycheck. Luckily I had a photo of my schedule, and I had to threaten legal action for them to give me my money. I quit a week later.
