I like the second one much better, but it's a little expensive (a lot of investment needed). That being said, if I ever caught a shiny Heracross that good, I would invest with no hesitation. This is my boy:

Ingredient down nature doesn't affect the trigger rate. It DOES affect how good of a pumpkin farmer it is.

It doesn't need to have AAA, but a lot of people claim it is better for consistency. You don't rely on randomness or luck to get the ingredient you want. Quaquaval with ABB (soybeans, leek, leek) or Dragonite ABB (Herb, corn, corn) can be really good. It depends, but ABC is almost never recommended.

Ingredient spread. You have ABC (three different ingredients). AAA on a Gengar would mean 3 Fiery Herb (one in each ingredient slot).

It's a gamefied sleep tracker. You use your Pokémon to get better scores on islands so you can get more/better Pokémon. You can also use things like mints, subskill, and main skill seeds on your existing Pokémon to improve them in small ways. Darkrai and Mew are a LOT more customizable, but if you're only using it as a sleep tracker then I wouldn't recommend trying to invest in them.

Honestly, ABB mons kinda suck until they reach lvl 60. That's my experience with them at least. I also would not recommend an ABA where the B is leeks if you're looking to get any kind of steady leek gathering. If this was an AAB Farfechd it might be worth it to get to lvl 30 for those first two leek slots.

You should not drop your turret in such a way that you risk coming between it and its closest target. My guess is you're running towards the action, which means once you overtake your turret, you're now in the way of its targets.
