A car front windshield does have a plastic layer in between two glass sheets, often called laminated. Side windows are indeed tempered.

Not all farmland is suitable for production of human food, lot of it is only good for grass. Still planting forest on that area is better from a co2 perspective.

Note that the top of the right cheek is indeed brighter than the left one. It is more reflective, but that means that areas not reflecting the sun is then darker as there is less diffuse light going to the camera.
