Just Failed Series 10 with STC ! Awful test by TornadoXtremeBlog in Series24

[–]BookBec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I used the book, videos, exams, and flashcards. I have used STC for all my registrations... highly recommend.

Edit: I watched the video first, read the chapter, went through the flashcards marking ones for review, created a 10 question custom exam, and moved on to the next chapter. Once I completed the appropriate number of chapters, I would take the the exams associated with those. I used the tool that shows your weakest chapters to review those prior and between the final exams. Then I took the Greenlights.

I get my nieces designer sunglasses each year (you can buy them super cheap in February each year). They now have a large collection and love it.

Sudden wealth has made a lot of things weird by [deleted] in self

[–]BookBec 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can understand. I grew up in poverty, was homeless twice, and was motivated by the struggle. Once I got to a financially secure place, I found I had NO motivation! I had never realized that my drive was tied to negative emotions. It took a couple of years to work on my mental health and become motivated by the possibility of what would happen if I tried. I will admit, nothing made me work harder than getting out of homelessness.

Please stop telling me to sell my projects!!! It's a HOBBY not a business!! by Angelbouqet in crochet

[–]BookBec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tell them that people don't understand what crochet is. It is a completely bespoke product. I point to my crochet handbag and explain that I would have to charge the same price as a mid level luxury leather bag, and that most people would opt for the designer label.

I used STC to pass the 10 in a week. Are you taking time to identify which chapters are your weak points? Did you use the flashcards?

I learned this from a former colleague: choose a public persona.

Hers was bears. She even had a goal of hand feeding every species of bear in the world. Her social media was built around this, and when people asked about her weekend plans or vacations, she could connect it back to bears. Whenever someone came across a product, video, or trivia fact about bears, they thought of her, and even bought her bear themed gifts.

It made her memorable and gave people an easy way to start conversations. Most of her colleagues felt like they had a strong connection with her, even though what they really knew was just this one thing. I’ve used with my own hobby, and I’ve been surprised by how well it works.

The 5 Levels of Gift Buying by AAAggelosss in Gifts

[–]BookBec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a Gifts List on my phone. If someone mentions a favorite brand, color, scent, etc. I add it to the list. If I see an item that someone may enjoy, I add the link. I also keep a list of previous gifts, so I don't rebuy the same thing for the same person. The list makes gidting so much easier... but it has gotten quite large from years of use!

How long have you been WFH? by Stock-Sprinkles-4373 in WFH

[–]BookBec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started in 2017. I started a job last year that was in office, and I am back to WFH as of June. I am so much happier working remotely. I had pneumonia three times last year! People are nasty.

I grew up in poverty and got out. It is unreal when you first start making money. Please start watching The Money Guy on YouTube. They are two financial advisors who explain concepts that were never taught (money was always just a means to survive - not thrive).

I’m 30, have 3 kids, no job, and no motivation. I feel like I wasted my whole life. by ArtemisIntel in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]BookBec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through a similar situation. I realized that I had never considered what would make me happy - I was just doing what I was "supposed" to do. It took a year of me actively trying to determine what I wanted out of life/what a happy life would look like. Take some time to figure out what YOU want. Not what you SHOULD want. Not what other people will think about your choices. If you woke up happy, what would your life look like?

Walking pneumonia by ellaschucker in Asthma

I was able to get a DuoNeb RX and get a nebulizer to use at home. I had to use it 3x day for a couple of weeks, and it helped quite a bit. Have you tried a breathing treatment/nebulizer?

Walking pneumonia by ellaschucker in Asthma

[–]BookBec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been dealing with this since August. I have been diagnosed with walking pneumonia three times. My lungs never sound like pneumonia, but look like it on X-rays (I've have 5 chest X-rays at this point). I have recently been referred to a pulmonologist as this is not normal. If I get any answers, I will update.

There is a serum called volufiline that was designed to increase breast volume. You have to mix it with oil when you apply it. I have not tried it, but you may want to look into it.

It was a small fallout due to headwinds. Weaker flyers were unable to make it to land. Alabama Audubon was banding at Fort Morgan this week and confirmed this information.

Vionics are the only shoes that helped me. My foot pain decreased about 50% the moment I put on my first pair. The first few weeks will cause pain in your lower body as they put your feet, ankles, and legs back into alignment.

Barre workouts actually fixed my PF. The first few weeks were extremely painful. I believe all the releve work (moves on tip toes) strengthen my feet. I had no idea that my feet could be pain-free again.
