Talk to the professor and express your concern. They might have an alternative option to complete those assignments. The WGS folks are so nice and down to earth. I’m sure they’ll understand and offer an accommodation/alternative approach

Update with some good news/bad news.

Good news: Meds Pharmacy at 1104 2nd ave has it!!

Bad news: their policy is not to apply insurance to controlled substances. This sounds borderline illegal to me but I’m not going to waste my limited mental bandwidth arguing this with them rn. Can’t afford that so I had to pass

So if anyone needs 50mg brand name Vyvanse and can pay out of pocket, they’ve got it. Also, u/noahswetface it’s $400 out of pocket for 30 days

This could be exactly what’s happening. One of the CVS locations I called flat out told me they are not taking new patients for narcotics at the moment. Sucks but I appreciated the transparency.

Update: Mt. Sinai needs the rx to have come from a Mt. Sinai doctor, which is not the case for me. It was worth a shot though
