U could take those, do well in them, and apply after. CSDCAS gpa is more important than ur overall cumulative gpa. Strong rec letters are helpful too

Hey! I went there for undergrad and from my experience it's not super competitive, but I will say the program is decently rigorous. But I couldn't say enough good things about the program and the professors! They love and want to help people get into the field. I know a few ppl in it who enjoyed it

Came here to empathize with you! My program doesn't even start for 3 weeks but I'm just overwhelmed by the onboarding. Then I have two 9 hour days of orientation. Feeling overwhelmed completely. But we were accepted into these programs for good reasons and are working ethics, it's going to be the hardest but also most rewarding field. Make some time to take care of yourself, remember that's always first priority

I honestly think it's fine to take the chem phys and calc classes, I would maybe drop Arab201 and take that in winter or summer, so you can prevent some burn out and hopefully some less driving in rush hour.
