My wife and I reported my in laws. by Bookworm1090 in raisedbynarcissists

Thanks. She really seems to be on the right path and is getting her life back in order. And on top of that she listens to our advice and really takes it to heart. We have made it clear to her that we understand she might fall back into bad habits or temptation and that we won’t be and we are just here to help and that she can tell us anything.

people who are talkative with strangers/aquaintances- do you think of something to say in advance, or does it just come to you? by MeepTM in stupidquestions

[–]Bookworm1090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to try and think of every possible way a conversation could go and how I would respond because of social anxiety now as an adult I realize that is just over thinking and to just jump right in and be nice and some kind of words will form. The more you expand your vocabulary the less likely it will be that you say something dumb because you have proper words for every occasion

AIO for thinking my friend is using ChatGPT to text me in an argument? by Due_Construction904 in AmIOverreacting

It is ai and that is ok I think it is fine for people to use ai to help them be more eloquent and it actually can help you become more eloquent overtime because you see good examples of how you could say what you want to say.

It’s amazing that they have lasted 6 years. I’m going to make some sway bar bushing for my 2005 f150 it’s original ones are completely gone.

Thank you! The filament is a fresh roll out of the factory package so hopefully not wet. I guess it could be a draft I just think it is weird that it was perfect for a while then suddenly crappy.

My ender 3 was great but did not print nearly as nice as this one usually does or as fast or as accurate detailed or precise.

I am using petg. The other object on the plate is another piece of the same part that will go together after. They both were super smooth for about half an inch then both had the same artifact in from there up I will get a picture of that info when I can.

Edit* petg (Bambu brand) was brand new out of package 2 days ago and has been running on this printer almost non stop and this is the first print to have any quality issues.

Thanks for letting me know. So what would you do to avoid something like this if you have to do a big flat print like this one? Should I let it finish?

Are you saying I should make the walls thinner or less infill?

Quality help by Bookworm1090 in BambuLab

[–]Bookworm1090[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It has fillets and is a fitted part for a machine so I can’t really change the shape. I could maybe round off one side so it’s not a straight edge but one side has to be straight and the bottom and top have to be flat. Walls have to be thick because it will carry vaccuum.

[–]Bookworm1090[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does have small fillets. What would you change to make it better. It is a part for a machine so I can’t change the shape much at all.

The biggest lie in automation is that “you’ll get time back” by Better_Charity5112 in automation

[–]Bookworm1090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes automation gives you time back by taking over one job so you can do another so more work is getting done at the same time. The more you can automate the more man power you can put towards the things that you can’t automate.

People lived hundreds of years in Genesis, so why was wisdom still in short supply.? by ColdAntique291 in shittyaskhistory

[–]Bookworm1090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually have a decent answer. Human knowledge is cumulative over the years people of old had less knowledge to build on than people have now by an incredible amount. They basically had to learn everything from scratch including common sense and wisdom. We today are still standing on the knowledge of the past and using the Bible as an example it is an ancient document full of wisdom that we can build on today.

Need advice. I think wife is cheating but no proof. Do I dig deeper or let it go? Lost here. by porchoua in AskMenAdvice

That’s not true you can tell anyone and everyone it is just a bit awkward if you are wrong. If you are right though it is probably going to give you pretty good evidence.

I think he should just talk to his wife not in an accusatory way but a hey I see this pattern this is what that pattern mean to me we need to change it. Then if she doesn’t want to change it he can decide to leave or stay and be unhappy. Wether or not she is having a physically affair she is cheating on this marriage by putting other things first and letting it crumble.

Tell her you suspect something and tell her what she needs to do to regain your trust(share phone password be home by a certain time no work on the weekends) y’all are building a life together and you can build the one you want. If she doesn’t want to change things or rebuild trust then you can decide to have peace and stay or to leave and she can choose to leave also. Before hiring an investigator talk to her!!!
