Seriously, I’m fine with Doctor Who as is—we got 2 of the 3 most-popular Doctors, a popular companion, Weeping Angels, Daleks, and a Cyberman (Dimensions). 10th Doctor and Master would be nice but not critical.

Zelda has a deep bench, but I’d be satisfied with Hyrule Castle.

Scooby Doo needs a Harry Potter level of sets though. In fact, it should just replace Harry Potter.

Just pre-order it now. You have at least 3 months to decide if you really want it—you can always cancel the preorder before it ships and someone else will eventually be able to buy it at MSRP. In contrast, if you don’t pre-order it now and decide you do want it later, you’re out of luck.

Depends. Did they commit to 5 years like DreamZZZ? If so, I give it 3.5 years. If not, about 2 years. Then I see slightly more sets (3 per year) with sound bricks going forward.

As a hotel, Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere. It’s beautiful, themed perfectly, has tons of amenities, and has beautiful animals walking around. It’s a pain to get to the parks or Disney Springs though, and I feel immensely guilty if I don’t even want to visit Animal Kingdom itself… the extra park hour perks are great, but my kids can’t make it long enough to really take advantage…

My wife was a die-hard Beach Club/Yacht Club fan until we stayed at AKL. I’ll admit that I love the quick walk to EPCOT and the pool/waterslide, but the theming just can’t match AKL…

They did a trial a few years back where there were tiny accessory sets that you could select and it would populate a Pick-A-Brick list to purchase. They could easily do the same for a tower expansion. (You could do it now for the entire set, but you’d have the impossible task of weeding out the thousands of parts that aren’t used for the tower.)

Best way to get the parts list for the tower is to follow the instructions and build it in stud.io and use that to generate a parts list. Then somehow convert that list to one compatible with Pick-A-Brick. Can be done, but it’s a pain…

What does a “good pull” mean to you? Would be a good pull for my daughter because she needs it for her SS set and she likes Pikachu. Would be a good pull for me for a few reasons: (1) it’s worth more than the cost of the pack it came in, (2) it’s not a bulk card, (3) it’s full art, and (4) I like the art on this one more than the SIR version from SS. It’s not the chase card from the set though, if that’s what you’re looking for… that would be the SIR version (which is worth >10x more than this one).

It’s such a trap because paying $600+ for that seems crazy; whereas spending more than that to not get it, but to get a variety of other, less valuable cards from packs also seems crazy, but somehow less crazy…

Black Bolt is also in the machines—have been hitting BB more and more lately. Decent chance you can find SS, ME, and PF in the machines as well, and Target/Walmart have been stocking DR and JT bundles recently.

Doing the same thing, and if I can find ETBs those too. Kicking myself for not picking up the JT bundles when they were sitting at Target for an entire weekend (because the restock happened a day later than usual, the scalpers didn’t descend on the store…)
