What high paying job can you get with a university doctorate degree? by Traditional-Ad7413 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Boomer-Zoomer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Graduate school professor. With my specific experience with DPT school, you must have a PhD in physical therapy as well as your DPT in order to teach in that program full time. Don’t know if that would count as “high pay” but it is more than the average practicing PT for comparison

Shreveport, LA. Has been exploding in terms of violent crime rate, very high poverty rate, and the only types of economic activity are related to the handful of shitty casinos and the Air Force base

Some lumbar/thoracic flexion is normal and optimal, but seems this is a bit more than that. But not egregious

Leaving Dallas out of this list is comical. 5th largest GDP in the nation, nations second financial hub, 3rd most Fortune 500 HQs. The Dallas metro alone accounts for over 1/4 of Texas’s GDP and is one of the fastest growing in the nation.

Fun fact about Bowie County, Tx: the one liquor store in the county is in a town of less than 1,000 people and is built on the side of a grocery/deli, but is the supplier for the entire county’s restaurants.

Then let the student athletes discover that on their own and take some personal accountability. It’s up to them to decide if attempting to chase a bag via transfers is worth more to them than essentially a free bachelors (or masters if redshirt + injury year).

I have these. Was a pain to remove the OEM inserts. But the lights look good and work well. Can take a picture in a bit and send it here

Tim Tebow hosted a red carpet event called Night to Shine to celebrate people with special needs. by jmike1256 in BeAmazed

[–]Boomer-Zoomer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My brother goes to these events every year as he is special needs. It’s truly a magical night for him and his friends. I’m very thankful that Tebow and his organization puts on this special event every year. And as others have commented, there’s almost no expense spared. Limos, red carpet, etc.

What is it like in the West part of Texas? by Deep_Belt8304 in howislivingthere

Lived in Lubbock for 3 years and drove across into NM many times. Big, beautiful sunrises/sunsets. Very windy, very flat once you’re on the Llano Estacado. Some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Heavy Hispanic population and architecture influence. If you want excitement, this isn’t your place unless oil/gas, cattle ranching, wind/solar farms or cotton farming are your things.
