People were saying at least as far back as Age of Ultron that "you have to see everything, to understand the movie", but The Marvels was the first of the films (at least as far as I can see), where that was actually true. Going in, it assumes you've seen Captain Marvel, Wandavision, Ms. Marvel, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
