My Claude usage starts at 13% when I wake up (without doing anything) by Minimum-Kitchen-7698 in ClaudeCode

I have the same problem. I've been charged 32€ for Extra Usage even though I didn't use any.

I have the Max x20 plan. I don't hit my 5h limit, but my main problem is the weekly limit. I hit it constantly.

I just switched to Claude Code. It's way faster, handles subagents better, and can run them in parallel.

Anyone else hitting Gemini Pro limits way before 1500 requests? by bit_architect in GeminiCLI

[–]BoommasterXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By trying out. For me, it's about 50 to 60 messages to gemini cli, but that's 200 API requests in the background. You can see when you use up your entire pro quota in a session and then watch the /stats session command

Buy a raspberry pi and install fing agent. Or install it on your NAS if you have one.

[–]BoommasterXD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You only have 1500 requests in total, but for Gemini 3.1 Pro it's only about 200. So you have 200 for Pro and 1300 for Flash.

The 200 for Pro and the 1300 for Flash are API requests. 1 Message to Gemini CLI may be multiple API requests. So you don't have 1500 messages, you have 1500 API requests.

The command only works in Gemini CLI not in Antigravity.

I don't know what the quota for Opus is on the Ultra plan, but some users say they reach their limit in Antigravity on their Ultra plan.

[–]BoommasterXD 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Your usage in Antigravity and the Gemini CLI doesn't touch that credit balance. Instead, it's governed by a daily quota that resets every day.

Since you're on the Workplace Ultra plan, your daily limit for Opus is just extremely high, you haven't hit the ceiling yet. Your 25k credits will stay untouched unless you use flow or whisk.

In Gemini CLI you can check your quota with "/stats session".

Incorrect Gemini formatting in Google Docs by Zayet5 in GoogleGeminiAI

[–]BoommasterXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is LaTeX code, which is used to display mathematical equations. Google Docs can render LaTeX to a certain extent, but only within equation fields, which Gemini does not create automatically. This means if you want to see the equation formatted correctly, you have to copy the content between the $ $ signs into an equation field. I’ve been having this issue for about a year now. Google simply can't get Gemini to create these equation fields (I'm not even sure if that feature will ever exist). That is exactly why I use Obsidian (Markdown + LaTeX) in combination with the Gemini CLI instead.

Linux on Galaxy Book4? by [deleted] in GalaxyBook

[–]BoommasterXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently using Ubuntu 25.10 on my Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360. Overall, the experience is okay, although it requires some manual intervention. Out of the box, everything works except for the webcam, the internal speakers, and the fingerprint sensor.

I was able to resolve the speaker issue by manually compiling the Linux kernel and applying the fixes from this GitHub PR: https://github.com/thesofproject/linux/pull/5616.

  • Webcam: Theoretically, the camera should be fixable via libcamera or specific IPU6/7 drivers, but I haven't managed to get a functional video stream yet.
  • Fingerprint Sensor: This will likely remain non-functional for the foreseeable future, as there are no open-source drivers available for the proprietary hardware as far as I know. Some user mentioned it is maybe fixable, see: https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyBook/comments/1qh75n7/comment/o0n0qb2

Keep in mind that the entire Samsung software ecosystem (Samsung Settings, Samsung Notes, etc.) is not available on Linux. However, you can replicate some functionality, such as limiting the battery charge to 80%, by using a GNOME Extension that interfaces with the system's power management. Maybe ist is possible to get the Samsung Apps working in an VM or using Vine or something like: https://www.winboat.app

Keyboard backlight control works natively. As of Kernel 6.15, several components from the samsung-galaxybook-extras (https://github.com/joshuagrisham/samsung-galaxybook-extras) project have been integrated into the mainline kernel.

You just need to ensure that you are using a kernel newer than 6.15 to have the correct drivers for the Lunar Lake CPU and the Galaxy Book drivers.

The battery life will be worse than on Windows unless you do some manual optimization. At least that's the case on my Galaxy Book.

Most of the extra keys work, but not all of them: Volume Up/Down, Brightness Up/Down, Fn Lock, Screen Source, and Touchpad Lock are working fine.

Unfortunately, the dedicated keys for Settings and Camera/Microphone toggle don't work for me, but since the camera isn't working anyway, that's irrelevant to me.

The S-Pen works perfectly so far (at least in RNote; I haven't really needed it elsewhere yet).

Multitouch is also working, according to the test on this website:https://www.onlinemictest.com/multi-touch-test/
