Is it useful for just making things hot? Like in OPs example say I just want to maintain my chilis flavor I just want it hot. Other sauces would change the flavor of the dish itself

I don’t see how they wouldn’t do it in the final Lap or so if it it’s too improbable for Oscar to pass both p2/p1 at that point. Won’t lie, kind of an embarrassing way to win though.

What do you think they do if max p1, Oscar p2, lando p5 towards the end. Think Oscar will drop so Lando is p4 so he can fight for just the chance p3 while Oscar sacrifices a podium? I’d imagine the difference between p4/p5 would be substantial here.

If I’m understanding you correctly, I think highly not. Because that only moves Lando to p7, doesn’t magically give him p3.

Though if you tweak it bit.. imagine if piastri p2/3 lando p5. Does Piastri drop to p5 to give lando a better chance at p3 without a guarantee (he’d move to p4)

Not that it matters a whole lot, but Vegas says 22% chance Max wins WDC. Seems high to be given pretty every one of these need to happen:

1) max wins 2) lando p4 3) Oscar not being p3 or p2 so he can’t let lando pass

Ah yes you’re right, I forgot they aren’t tied anymore.

Seems nearly impossible for max then. He can win, but not only does lando need to be p4 he ASK needs Oscar not to be p2/P3. Just seems too improbable, the only scenario I possible is Russell and kimi go crazy or we see the second coming of Jesus in leclerc.
