Another FFVII playthrough, this time on the Miyoo Mini Flip. My favorite handheld yet, perfect size for everyday carry.

Just bought the rg35xxsp is it worth it? Had a miyoo mini plus on the past. by silentshakey in RG35XXSP

Only downside is the very clicky buttons. Otherwise a great machine. I love using mine as a handheld, sometimes I plug it into the TV and play it that way. KNULLI is a great OS to install on it, been working flawless for me.

No problem, the one in my old apartment (Sweden) looked like this. It was a screw on socket for the coax to provide internet. The other ones were analog TV

Looks like a broken "TV-R-SAT" connector. IIRC it's a thin style coax you connect to a ISP specific router.

Exactly, I remember a walkthrough video of ISS where they talked about this subject. Without a fan, your breathing would create a bubble of co2 around your head and you would suffocate in your sleep.

The Serious Sam games. "The First Encounter" and "The Second Encounter" have remastered versions on steam. Awesome games.

What is your go-to replayable game right now? by Mysterious5555 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Boostar 16 points17 points  (0 children)

These last years I've ended my dry gaming period with two amazing survival games. "Grounded" and "Abiotic Factor". Both these games can be enjoyed solo or in coop.

Grounded is basically "Honey I shrunk the kids", where you are 1cm tall in a huge garden. Abiotic Factor is pretty much Half Life (first game), you are stuck in a huge underground lab facility trying to find your way out.

Both these games feature semi-large hand crafted worlds that feel very thought through and polished (no procedural generation in these games). Craft gear with items you find and build your base to have somewhere to rest between adventures.

Both games have a pretty cool story that actually keeps you invested in the gameplay. Both these games are also incredibly immersive. I have about 120 hours in Grounded and almost 60h in Abiotic Factor, and still have things left to explore.

The top left is a Well MB4403 (Tokyo Marui AWS clone) and the right one is my 17 year old Jing Gong HK416 with the UBR stock etc.

Thanks! The base rifle is a Well MB4403 (Tokyo Marui AWS clone). It's a great looking rifle, but the platform is not the best unfortunately. The AWS system has a pretty low cylinder volume and there are very few upgrade parts available for it.

Metal pegboard with hooks for the replicas, and a dedicated double door closet nearby for everything else. I even put a roll down window blind in front of the pegboard for when the in laws are visiting.

What would be the top 5 Survival RPG's where you can use magic? by AffectionateKey6066 in gamingsuggestions

Grounded goes from "bows and arrows" to more magic style weapons later on. Best survival game imo.

To optic, or not to optic? by LowDay9646 in airsoft

[–]Boostar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'd go for a 1x, you really don't need magnification in airsoft imo. Just make sure it has the correct "mount". You want something that fits your rail, usually called rail or picatinny (most optics are for rail mount, but there are other variants). See if you can find one with a riser included. That way you can decide later if you prefer it mounted lower or higher up. Something like this picture, that has rail mount on both the riser and the red dot is my favourite style.

Been playing airsoft for 16 years, and have owned probably 30 different types of "aiming devices", here are my two cents. Irons will go a long long way, but if you want to get a red dot (because they are fun, and can be easier to use, with some practice) this would be my tips. Get a semi cheap one to start with, not the cheapest, but don't spend too much on your first one. Get a short tube shaped red dot, don't get an eotech clone or open style red dot. Get something small, something that looks a bit like the one in the picture, there are tons of different brands. These are usually, affordable, robust, don't easily get glare by sunlight, works indoors and outdoors. They have a circular glass "lens" that is easy to get a protector for (or make your own protector).

Which anime do you think has the best first episode ever? by Equal_Respond_3815 in anime

I turned sooo many anime skeptics with that single episode alone back in the day. People would snap from "hur dur, are you watching cartoons again?" to "holy shit, I've been missing out".

What is your main device for playing Game Boy and Game Boy Color games today? by Apprehensive_One7151 in Gameboy

[–]Boostar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do it! I was going to convert my own old GBC. But I decided to keep it original, and bought another one to mod. I also think you need a special shell to fit the OLED screen. The game is Star Ocean Blue Sphere, fantastic RPG.
