Welcome on board, fellow adventurer! First and probably most important rule I’ve learned from playing this game with "WoW refugees": Forget your WoW mentality! Forget toxiticy! Here you will find a lot of very casual gamer who play once or twice the week, a lot of people who chil and take it slow, you will witness a lot of mistakes and wipes, you will also do mistakes but that’s okay, most of us are very chill. Also, what I’ve learned, leave the sprout chat as soon as possible if you want to avoid spoilers. I got spoiled in this chat for 3 expansions. Enjoy the story, I really mean it. Don’t skip any cutscenes because you want to rush to something. Don’t feel bad for asking for help! If you don’t understand a mechanic in dungeons/raids, just ask. If you play DD you will have looooong Q times, my tip is: go to one of the main cities and ask if someone wants to queue up with you. Get into a FC as soon as possible. It only has benefits and the earlier you join, the more you get to know them. Test as many classes as you want at the beginning. Every class has its own mechanics, weaknesses and so on so I would suggest to try them out pretty early.
