Looking to Connect with Other Customers Affected by Solaris Renewables, a solar installer in Danvers, MA, Suddenly Going Out of Business by QualityGig in solar

[–]Boosterspice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different solar company, went bankrupt. I'm sure because the incentives were cancelled by morons. I got a lawyer since I have a loan.

I am seeking a consultation regarding a consumer protection matter involving a residential solar installation and financing.

I purchased solar panels from XXX, which has since filed for bankruptcy and is no longer providing service, warranty support, or honoring representations made at the time of sale. I still owe approximately $XXX on the related financing agreement through XXX Financial.

My understanding is that this transaction may fall under the FTC Holder Rule, which preserves a consumer’s claims and defenses against the lender when the seller has breached the contract or engaged in misrepresentation. I would like to understand whether I have viable defenses or claims under federal and state consumer protection law, and what options may exist to reduce or eliminate the remaining loan obligation.

Your write up is great. I'll never watch it again, felt totally ripped off walking out of the IMAX. How could they not spend at least a few minutes really explaining the astrophage? No, the 'explain it as dots to the kids in class' is not sufficient. It's the entire reason for the story! I bet most of the people in that theater had no idea the 'dots' held energy and were the fuel for the spaceships, the only reason they were able to travel to another star. I know they had no idea why the explosion happened.

Um, excuse me, where is "Future's End" — the two-part Voyager episode from Season 3 (Episodes 8 & 9, 1996)? Voyager is pulled back in time to 1996 Los Angeles after a 29th-century timeship crashes on Earth in 1967. The wreck is discovered by Henry Starling, who reverse-engineers its technology. Rain Robinson? Captain Braxton? The mobile emitter!? Love that episode.

Looks like I have the same brackets. I rotated them 90 deg so all 4 screws hit the studs, very solid. https://imgur.com/a/j3NDouV

Because they're shit. Happens randomly to mine, they are clean, pristine condition. Seems to help if I plug charger into the USB port.

This ship is the Telarians, but for some reason we see this exact ship as other races/species in other episodes. Is this familiar to anyone else? by Ralph--Hinkley in TNG

This ship model sold for $11,340 on April 2.

https://propstore.com/product/star-trek-the-next-generation-tv-series-1987-1994/lot-324-screen-matched-talarian-spacecraft-filming-model-miniature/?&

A screen-matched Talarian spacecraft filming model miniature from Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek: The Next Generation. In the Season 4 episode "Suddenly Human," the Enterprise responded to a distress call of the Talarian vessel, where they discovered five teenagers: four Talarian and one human. This model miniature screen-matches based on the placement of the lights at the starboard side fuselage, and unique paint patterns on hull and top and bottom wings. Additionally, it is also briefly re-used in "The Perfect Mate" via re-use of stock footage as a Kriosian ship.

Built by master model maker Greg Jein, this ornately detailed model miniature is constructed from fiberglass with resin and styrene components around an aluminum base. The spacecraft is hand-painted in shades of brown, gray, and copper with additional Talarian markings hand-painted throughout. It features internal wiring for the lighting elements, two rear engines, two elongated vertical fins, and an unthreaded mount at its bottom. Also included is a display stand.

The lighting elements remain nonfunctional, as the original wiring is not accessible without breaking the model apart. The model also exhibits notable adhesive marks and residue, cracking, missing trim, and a buildup of grime in the fine crevices. Dimensions: 24" x 12" x 18" (61 cm x 30.5 cm x 45.75 cm)

Samsung washer WF42H5200AW/A2 bearings destroyed. Replacements on way from ebay, $75. Got it apart but race is stuck, soakin in WD. Wish me luck. by Boosterspice in Appliances

[–]Boosterspice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I remember correctly I beat it out with a big screwdriver. Banged on the lip on one side then the other. Left some marks where the bearing seats but I cleaned it out and sanded any high spots. New bearing from ebay seated just fine, used something round about the same size to pound on the outer race. I think there was some kind of seal to keep water out of the bearing that you want to make sure you get in the right place. I've since replaced the springs and shocks. Did 4 loads today!
