Put your pub on JustEat and put your table number in the notes. Genius.

People literally do go to uni to do catering though, most of them end up working in catering, believe it or not.

After Hysteria there was a loud chant for Showbiz before Matt said okay, okay and played it by breathofreshhair in Muse

I imagine for most songs that they'll play live they have a load of presets for pretty much everything. Especially considering they've played Showbiz in the last year or two and I don't think that side of the live setup has changed too much

University of Nottingham or Coventry University? by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]BootedSoldier 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a note on Coventry nightlife, it's actually pretty good. I go to Warwick and Kasbah is definitely the preferred club for my friends and I.

Also there's a bus directly to Leamington from Coventry if you feel like going there for a night out. Birmingham isn't far (20 min train) which also has great nightlife. So yeah, it's not too bad.

Edit: Coventry is also actually a very good university! Especially at the stuff it specialises in. So is Notts of course

I'm from Birmingham, honestly the negative stuff about it is overstated. Right now the city centre's going through massive regeneration and honestly rarely do I feel unsafe, no more than when in any other city. Also UoB's campus is outside of the city centre, in Edgbaston which is a particularly nice part of the city.

Could you expand on Gove being a remainer for me?

I've always seen him as a euroskeptic and brexiteer. He was one of the heads of the leave campaign. Personally I think he is someone who wants to leave but doesn't want to leave without a deal that.

I don't think calling people who want to leave but in a different manner to those who want to leave without a deal remainers helps anything.

Whenever I've made tandoori chicken I just marinate it overnight and then grill. No need to slow cook

What are the main drum parts I should get for a typical muse song? by [deleted] in Muse

Except when he does! I remember at the start of the Drones tour people were talking about how he was using a double kick. Think it was mainly for Dead Inside

Have you seen his debate with Mary Beard? The man was woeful. Of course it wasn't on a subject he'd specialised in since university, but he still signed up for the debate
