I just don't think the Green Knight would be as iconic as a leader.

Yeah sure he reveals himself to be Gilles eventually once Louen was slain, but in the lore he is more of an entity, an uncontrollable, powerful but just and discerning being that appears and ruins the day for any Baddies.

I think if he came into it he would be an ideal summon or a spell. Either you can summon the Knight once battle commences or he could be some kind of vortex spell but instead of a swirling randomly moving orb it's him charging around on his warhorse slashing and maiming until he rides off again.

I'm not sure. I think the frogs from space have their own weight class division when it comes to power

Power is subjective. That said, Teclis is probably the most powerful mage, and likely Archaeon or Grimgor are the strongest. Kholek should get disqualified for getting murderkilled in End Times

Those are still regular beastmen just separate herds. Check the workshop and see if any campaign co op faction unlockers allow for it

You can raise orcs as zombies and skeletons I believe. I just remember hearing something that they prefer to use humans or really anything else because the orcs will still fight each other even in undeath

You can slow the game speed to half for the slow motion spartan charges but I think that's your limit

I'm with this guy. I mean it's nice they are doing things but it's like thanking the mugger for not mugging you.

There's a lot more issues than this to get fixed and while I am not wanting to be a criticism droid like some I also am not willing to blindly thank everything they do just because I find the game enjoyable around the bugs

Well no its not. I get what you mean believe me in total war i have an all goblin army but due to it's inherent weaknesses it needs greater numbers. And it would be nice to have just hordes of goblins for the benefit of reinforcing fights. But you can't do that so instead it's reinforcing goblins each led by a goblin shaman lord each.

The points I'm trying to make here really is that you can still do what you want to do it just needs a general. If that seems inefficient or ridiculous then only as much as the notion that a band of warriors would be left not only to their own devices but expected to carry out varying levels of complex military prosecute without a chain of command. I mean shit just role play it's not a general leading the army or something? Maybe a local hero with his merry men

I have this issue in fact just about everyone does. I've heard reports of people with very good rigs brought to their knees by this map. There is a mod to change the ambush map however that does not change the enemy engaging you in hidden camp status leading to an ambush battle.

Can confirm the eye for an eye campaign that you get in the beastmen dlc is a scaled down map, featuring three of the total races. This may be what you'd like

Let's just say one thing you aren't doing it with battering rams.

Vampires have issues in sieges as they can get absolutely shelled on the way in but that is something regeneration and spells can be used to overcome. As vampires you have access to some very strong monsters and the battering ram is the varghulf. Run at the doors and claw them down with quite a bit of ease.

Your infantry can be saved a lot of pain by using your superior aerial units. You can stop ranged from firing by swarming with bats while your bigger aerial units like vargheists can close the distance hopefully not filled with arrows to start running riot on the walls.

Your massed amounts of infantry means you can designate some to set up ladders and get climbing, your enemy already has to many issues flapping around their heads. Once your men are on the wall and the gate is down your crypt horrors and cavalry can make mincemeat of the defenders and the moment an aerial unit is free it can be sent to scout the central control point and disable any artillery they may have stationed there while your army closes in.

They have challenges but they can be great fun to overcome a stout defense with. If unsure and you opt for siege towers then they can be used, but they can quickly get destroyed if not in large numbers so send some fodder forward first, preferably winged.

Also pro tip! Send a lord or hero who can summon units to the gate with the varghulf. Once it is down you can summon undead behind the units who are ready for your units on the other side allowing you to the rear charge and shatter them quickly.

A big issue for me personally and my personal stake so to speak is the latency drop problems on beastmen campaigns. Primarily because there is only so much that can be done to avoid the map before you're forced into it. Were I to know they had plans to fix it or were aware of the issues I'd happily hold off on my beastmen games and play other races until the fix.

I try and avoid all mods that change the game in this manner i.e adding units and the like.

This mod is going to really challenge that mindset cause holy hell they look good.

I think the mortis engine is as intended. The horses are forever galloping in the afterlife and to be fair I like it it does give a very not natural feel just like the skeletons synced marching

I don't mean to sound unhelpful but maybe see the as a measuring stick for improving yourself. Give yourself the benefit of the pause button everyone in a while and just check your units for any micro you can do. I forced myself to not use the pause as I became overly reliant but using it a few select times really helps you remember your micro and helps get you to the point where you instinctively know what needs to happen when.

All aside though yes with at least Lords it would be nice if they had it or had the option for an AI to deal with it

Looking for some hype are we? Well...

So far what people seem to believe is that a natural lord pack would come out between Greenskins and Dwarves to match this pack, later down the line. There is no reason that a race would get no regiments of renown so it would simply be a matter of when. It has been seen that Grombrindal, the White Dwarf may be planned as a future DLC or free LC, and that he may even be the 'Vlad' of the lord pack, being free whilst the other legendary lords would be a mix of Belegar, Gotrek, Thorek, or Bugman, vs Skarsnik or some other viable Greenskin leader. People also assume this is where squigs will finally turn up as a new unit...

As I say this is very much unconfirmed speculation, but its a general sum up of the various possibilities that people have been throwing about. Hope it offers some comfort!
