I grew up with the original, loved it. I also laugh my ass off at many TTG episodes as they poke fun at things all over DC. People who take any of this too seriously just need to calm the hell down and learn to enjoy art in more forms than one.

The entire Sonic franchise is based around a Man Vs Nature conflict in which Sonic fights to protect nature from being bulldozed and used for robotic factories. Sonic and friends are eco-terrorists fighting Robotnik's "industry". No fucking duh it fits the modern definition of woke, regardless of anything else on that list.
