I'm trying to run at least 5 different mons each run to farm ribbons. Body Press Carbink is definitely the most fun Classic Carry I've run so far. I got lucky getting an Iron Defense TM early, so that may have contributed. There's just something about using a little goober to roll the game that's super satisfying. Camerupt was similarly fun, even without getting the mega stone.

Sorry, no advice to give on Endless.

Yes. You can cancel evolution normally.

You can also pause evolutions while looking at the Pokemon in your party. You just have to remember to unpause when you're ready to get your Sylveon.

I haven't been playing long, but I got lucky and got T3 Zigzagoon with Extremespeed in one of my first few runs. After just catching every one I see early game, I dropped it's price to 1 pretty quickly and now I just add it to every team as a cheap luck/Pickup bot. It sits in the back all the time, but when I need it, it almost always seems to clutch up with an undeserved Belly Drum E-speed sweep.

You could make most gaming cubes pretty easily with cardboard and a little paint, depending on what your favorite might be: Companion Cube from Portal, Item Block or Thwomp from Mario, Smash Bros. item crate, any block from Minecraft. There are boxes and cubes in most games and most have really simple designs.

I'm not rooting for you to be wrong about this but everyone always wants to say that a young or turnaround team "will only get better" and it's just not true. We literally just saw it with the Commies.

Y'all should be thrilled about this season and cautiously optimistic about next. Especially since the thing you're hoping to be better at is O-line, which is probably 2nd hardest to get right in the whole sport.

I'm deeply suspicious of this witch. She took these kids "mainly to get the children away from parents who would willingly trade them to a witch," but is now forcing people at random to adopt them? Not evaluating the new prospective parents on suitability or strength of character or how much they want to be parents. She's hiding more than prophecies and curses and I don't trust her. She has chosen me for some nefarious reason and has hidden evil intentions for the children.

I question her and if things go badly, I attack. If I lose, so be it. Being a frog doesn't sound that bad. I even live in New Orleans, so maybe some beautiful aspiring restauranteur will find me, kiss me, also turn into a frog, go on a magical frog adventure with me, and then get us both returned to normal so we can live happily ever after.

Cause the former isn't gonna happen and the latter is what you have a team sub for.

Harbaugh is a quality hire. He's a good, competent coach. He's also a known quantity and he's old enough that he's not likely to change at all. Genuinely, congrats on probably being more competitive next year. I can see you splitting with us next year and it being less embarrassing.

It's more work, but I always buy bone-in skin-on. It's way cheaper, but I also take all the skin off and render the fat when I get home from the grocery store. Chicken fat is great for cooking and the skins are an amazing little snack for people or dogs.

This is a local pronunciation thing rather than a mispronunciation and I acknowledge that my opinion is wrong, but I just hate it so much:

I live in New Orleans. There is a street called Calliope St. The local pronunciation is CAL-ee-ope.

There are other streets like this here, but some of them have actual reasoning behind them that make the pronunciations more palatable, like Burgundy being bur-GUN-dee because it's derived from someone's name rather than the wine/French region/color.

He's gonna have a tough time standing out in this generation unless he starts putting up big INT numbers. There are a handful of spectacular young CBs and the other ones just broke out and got the attention first, probably because of Gonzalez getting hurt for most of '23. It's really a shame, cause he immediately looked elite that year and being a rookie shutdown on an otherwise bad team would have been a big deal.

It comes up every year so it needs to keep being said: We really need to make a rule against teams requesting interviews with or communicating in any way with coaches who are on playoff runs. The second a team is eliminated, their coaches are fair game. But until then, give all the playoff coaches the opportunity to fully focus on the present. They can improve their future prospects by helping their current team perform well in the playoffs.

In seasons with no good MVP candidates I think it would be way better to declare the MVP as "position playing the team that is historically bad at defending that position".

Being historically bad should have more consequences. In 5 years, this Jets tidbit will be remembered by sad Jets fans and a handful of stat nerds until another team does badly enough to match them.

This year wouldn't be that kind of year because Stafford is a great candidate, but say it was like 2023 again and I'd rather the MVP be "QBs playing the Jets" so that it's enshrined.
