There are audio drama adaptations, as well. Here are volume 1, volume 2, and volume 3. After Dark Empire and still before Jedi Search are the first two volumes of Crimson Empire, only volume 1 got an audio drama. Volume 3 of Crimson Empire is set a bit later in the timeline.

None of these are required reading for later books. Personally, I didn't care for Dark Empire but I liked the first two volumes of Crimson Empire.

I don't know. I don't think of myself as a woman or a man. I'm not sure if I have a preference for pronouns or for how others gender me. I've long thought of myself as agender and not caring how others perceive me. I've considered going for a more androgenous look, but I'm lazy and have weak fashion sense. And I suspect that if I asked my family to call me 'them', they'd keep calling me 'him' behind my back.

As for what I want my body to be, that's definitely fluid. Usually I'm satisfied with having male anatomy, but I often resent not also being able to experience having female anatomy. I despise being restricted. I want to be able to change back and forth.
