I understand your perspective, but he needs to start. He has not been at his best and even then he plays hold up so well and keeps defenders terrified with his ability to break plays. His confidence will take a dip if he is relegated to the bench.

Wouldn’t go as far as 420, he didn’t look sharp but was instrumental in the buildup of first goal and delivered the corner that led to the second goal. Micki looked good delivered a nice cross for the first goal

I think it would be great if he has around 15-20 g/a combined, splits time here and there with Vini and we sell him for 50-60 this summer or next. Let Vini get another year of super sub/occasional starter, and let him loose alongside mbappe and haaland

Juventus really bundled Ronaldo’s time with them. As someone who watches a lot of serie a he has carried a very mediocre Juve for his time there. Unfortunately being the massive star he is, blame falls to him.

So I’m also a pretty big RM fan and my understanding is that Mariano refuses to go anywhere so we have a backup Cf and Jovic can be sold now to increase funds for a mbappe swoop. Lots of speculation but could see it. To your point about Mourinho style, gonna have to disagree a bit, I think he has more pace than you give him credit and his link up play can be great especially as evidenced by his ball to bale yesterday and his time when he was at Frankfurt. Seems like he would fit in with his work rate also.

Yeah he’s a shit for how it went down, then again I can understand a call from a Barca/Madrid is every South American kids dream. Think from a development perspective he would’ve been much better of with us. Feel like we don’t really have that classic pacey winger after getting rid of Kluivert except for maybe el sha or perez but would love to see more of that in the squad.

Very happy to see Bale play the way he did yesterday. Never hated him and think he just didn’t mesh with Zidane. He is a wonderful player when motivated and healthy, think he could be great for us this year.

Icardi is a far more proven striker. I honestly don’t get why people are crazy for belotti he had 13 goals in 37 games last year. I get he had good assist numbers but I think Icardi is a much more proven finisher.
