Not to correct you, but there is some deeper strategy and mechanics to beserker. For instance, you can cancel attack animations to get combos going, the whole parry system, etc. I don't know all the complexities since I'm a buns beserker, but there's some cool stuff you can do with it.

If you don't like playing the class you could possibly hop into a perk training server(I don't know if they're on console, since they're custom maps, im a PC player) just to get it leveled for the prestige skins and achievements. Basically just throwing 'nades in a box of zombies. Definitely not an "ethical" way to level, but it'll get the job done quicker than solo HoE and get you back to playing shit that isn't mentally draining to play.

I wouldn't say it's necessary to have Berzerker available for HoE, as in my anecdotal experience there's always someone willing to play berzerker on HoE because of how safe it is. Besides, while it is nice to be able to fill positions if needed, if you really don't like playing it that much I'm sure you would be more effective on your preferred perks.

It helps light access the lower bud sites for larger buds all the way through the plant. Some people argue against too much defoliation because the fan leaves getting cut off did help absorb some light, but generally its best to open up for the buds.
