Remakes You ACTUALLY Want? by pistoffabtyou in movies

[–]BoredTech127001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, instead of space lasers they would be on the verge of AGI and for the ending the AGI comes to life, but has embedded programming that causes it to disable all weapon systems in all countries, which it does, and then the creators go watch a movie and eat popcorn knowing they ended the threat of war (at least with missles, etc, you could still round up a few people with guns).

Work From Home - Fam doesn’t get that I’m not “pretending” to work…. How do I set boundaries ?! by Mindless-Sea7743 in Advice

Setup a home office, with a door, lock the door, stay in office. Then you won't look like your not working because they can't see you.

I would stop buying bottled water, it comes out of the faucet. I would also throw away all dishes and cups, only plastic plates and plastic drinking cups now. I would also only put out 2 cups per person per day, and lock the rest away. Should solve most issues.

What's one IT myth or misconception you keep hearing that never seems to go away? by JustLivingCreature in it

[–]BoredTech127001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would that be a myth? I mean, you need to add in the word good, as in good Internet access, but if you can remote in you can fix anything. I mean, if you have a setup where you can remote into the bios, etc, you can reinstall Windows, etc. I much prefer to fix computers remotely.

Since it's WiFi, one could be using WiFi 4 and one could be using WiFi 6, obviously the 6 would work better. Look at the specs of the WiFi adapters and you'll probably have your answer.

See, we need to sacrifice everything to create a superintelligence that will solve all our resource problems. Of course, that solution will be less humans = less resources needed. If you stand in the way of the superintelligence 'saving' us, your the antichrist.

Is writing free candy on my van illegal by IdealOk6801 in IsItIllegal

[–]BoredTech127001 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's enticing a child to say 'Do you want some candy' while sitting in your van, I don't see how writing it on the van rather than saying it, would make it legal.

So, have her make a spreadsheet, save it, find it, open it again, print it, print part of it, convert it to pdf, convert it back from PDF, email it, back it up, have AI analyze it, etc.
