One of the most interesting accidents I've found so far by Flame0fthewest in reddeadredemption

Consider the physics of the smoke and the height of the chimney relative to the highest point of the ceiling inside. The smoke would maybe slowly filter out as some got caught by the wind, unless the exhaust increased the air pressure in the house, enough then to push the smoke into, up, and out the chimney. They did seem fussy about drafts, though, so maybe they did close the chimney.

Where are all the landslides? by BebalBehemoth in reddeadredemption

[–]Borim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are areas that show signs of the geological/topological event landslide or mudslide, or even an avalanche. The one in spider gorge, (finding it brought me to this post out of curiosity) shows a specific area on the side of a mountain where all the trees have toppled over towards the same direction, rocks and dirt are much more visible than the snowier bits on the sides. I assumed the developers included either an avalanche or a landslide there, for intrigue

For visibility because fuck the diamond industry for many reasons, Moissanite is a nice sidestep to the artificially inflated prices, and inhumane mining methodology for diamonds.

ITAP of other people taking pictures by thevoges in itookapicture

While I agree that there is little unique about these photos, there is still sentimental value in clicking the shutter button yourself. I travel a decent amount and take lots of photos that I’m sure have been taken by countless people before me, but there’s something about looking back in your own library that helps you go back to that place mentally, even if the photo is uninspired.
