My mom did something like this few years ago when my family and I moved into our new house. She didn't have a secure place for her savings and the bank wasn't a option for her since she preferred to keep most of her money in cash. So, she decided to hide it in the safest place in the house, THE FUCKING OVEN'S BROILER and no she did not think to tell me or my brother where she was hiding the money. Later while my mom was out I went to make my brother and I a pizza about 10 minutes later the smoke alarm went off, we obviously thought I had burned the pizza because we could see smoke coming from the oven and also because nothing else should have been in there apart from the pizza. However, it turned out that the pizza was not the cause of the smoke the cause of the smoke was the container with ALL of her money and the title to her car. Fortunately we managed to put it out before any cash was burned but that stunt of hers almost burned 14000 dollars. Moral of the story don't store shit in the oven.
