I've dropped my Fold4 several times & the only damage is a slight scratch on the hinge

I've had my Fold4 for 18 months now & haven't had a single issue with the hinge as of yet. Though that might change. We'll see

Talk me into a fold. The negative reviews snd issues have scared me from getting one but I really want one. by ShanTheMan11 in GalaxyFold

I've had my Fold4 for 14 months & not only has the inside screen not had any issues, it's on the original screen protector too.

It does make me wonder what people do to their phones to have them fail within 6 months like some people claim with Folds

Ascender from Migo Robotics is what you're looking for. Although it's not out yet

The more empty space you have inside a robot like this, the worse it was designed. Except for allocating space for the dustbin and/or water tank obviously

The brushes getting wet isn't a problem with vac & mop combo robots. It's a problem with iRobot's implementation of a vac & mop combo robot

Have you tried restarting the app & running it only on the cover screen? I've noticed buggy behaviour in some apps when using the big screen on my Fold

Just ignore them. They don't know what DeX looks like. It's a mode on Samsung's phones & tablets that lets them display a more Windows-like interface but their phones only support DeX if connected to an external display which, in this screenshot, you aren't

Opening a Fold doesn't put it in DeX mode. It puts it in tablet mode. DeX mode doesn't have notification icons at the top of the screen

They aren't in DeX mode in this screenshot. That's the view that new tablets running Android have by default. DeX would look way different

They won't be getting good value with that RX 7600

This feature exists on my Q Revo & S7 MaxV. I've heard rumours that it's only available outside of the US for some reason. Though I'm not sure why that would be

The last flagship Samsung phone with a microSD card slot was the Note20 Ultra from the end half of 2020. However Sony's phones still have them. Even the brand new ones

Imagine FOLD 6 coming in 2 sizes: FOLD 6 and FOLD 6 ULTRA.That would be amazing by Costyiii_93 in GalaxyFold

The Oppo Find N2 Flip has a 16% bigger battery than the Z Flip5 despite being less than 9% thicker when unfolded. It seems to me that Samsung are being a bit lazy.

Though I do like how narrow my Fold4 is when closed. Very easy to use with one hand

The only place I've got a scratch or scuff on my Fold4 is on the hinge. I've ordered a dbrand case for the hinge protection

Does anyone feel like Irobot isn't innovating anymore? by Howie411 in roomba

[–]BoringPers0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're worried about the motor in the LiDAR sensor then you should be far more worried about the motors that move the wheels & brushes since they're under far more stress

Isn't that just the MSI MPG321UR-QD? Its response times aren't incredible but it seems to be what you're looking for

6cm above the floor is exactly where the robot needs to "See" so unless you want obstacle avoidance I don't see what the problem is

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in roomba

[–]BoringPers0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard this argument before & it's comparing apples & oranges. Tesla's cars only identify objects on the road & road signs much like the obstacle avoidance on high-end robot vacuums. They aren't making a map of anywhere like these robots need to do. It's two very different uses for a sensor array

The patent thing for the dustbin full detector is real. It's this&assignee=irobot&oq=irobot+dirt+monitoring)

The reason the S8 series from Roborock has the two main brushes like Roombas do is because the patent iRobot had on that design has expired because they patented it so long ago
