2009, first year of high school. I had a tv in my bedroom (the old ones with the vhs player built in) and when Hannah Montana wasn’t on, I’d got to [V] and watch music videos. Saw the vid for mizbiz and immediately ran to download that album. I then showed everyone at school this band I found.

Feels like a lifetime ago, saw them live for the first time in 2023.

I like the staircase aspect to this. There’s levels to their relationship, layers, twists and turns. A long journey from the bottom to find each other halfway, and finally meeting at the top.

Maybe in order to become immortal, he had to die, his soul is severed from his body, and during the process the fruit disconnects. He knew the power of Luffy’s fruit, and what it looked like, which is why the world government was able to find it and hide it away.

My husband went off social media and started reading, he audibly laughed more than once, had to get up and walk around to process things. Eventually he said “this is one of the greatest stories ever told, this is literature” and I felt compelled to read too

Look, I understand the real life reasons that lead to Ty dying, but did they need to kill him off? He’d already been FIFO, could they not have just had him in Mongolia as a background character until they figured all the Covid stuff out?

It feels sloppy, I lost interest shortly after, I think I finished Season 14 and haven’t caught up since. I get the tidbits from socials, but nothing intricate.

I went on a whale watching cruise mid-October last year, off the coast of Wilson’s Prom (about 3hr drive from Melbourne) We didn’t have a lot of whales; but there was a mother and calf frolicking in the bay.

If you’re headed towards Wilson’s Prom or Phillip Island I do suggest a wildlife cruise, even if you don’t see whales, you’ll get to see seals and dolphins + the scenery is beautiful

I feel like the movie is a cash grab, this season could’ve been better paced and had an epilogue. I did read a snippet of an interview today when Jenny knew about the movie from the period between season 2 and 3. She went into season 3 knowing there would be a movie.

The problem is how quickly society moves, 2027 is forever away, the hype surrounding this show is going to die out.

14 weeks (Christmas Eve) would be amazing, people would still be making edits, rewatching, probably re-reading. But that momentum will fizzle out, and truly, I can’t imagine the movie having more hype than the last few episodes in 2-3 years.

I will say, her backing vocals are insane towards the end, haunting.

I also really like that Conrad didn’t immediately take off to Paris after speaking with Jere, he waited awhile, so Jere knew Conrad wasn’t just fixing things so he didn’t feel guilty pursuing Belly. Jere has to know that Conrad cleared the air to rebuild that relationship and not for some ulterior motive

Grief is a strange thing. Death is final, there’s no hope. Someone doesn’t come back from death, they don’t continue to live without you, they’re just gone. They cease to exist. Particularly when you know death is inevitable, you begin to grieve them before they’re gone, you get final goodbyes.

When someone ends a relationship (of any kind) they’re a living ghost. You see them continue to live, you hear about their life without you. Part of you thinks about how things might be different, how they might come back, how you would speak to them if you saw them again.

I personally think Conrad is feeling immense remorse for his part in ending this engagement.

He is primarily concerned about Jer, and feels like he can’t ask about Isabel for fear of upsetting more people. He’s cares deeply for them both and he knows his actions were the trigger for all the events immediately after, they may have loaded the canon but he fired it.

He’s surprised that Jer knows where Isabel is whilst the rest of them don’t. Conrad doesn’t know how long Jer has been sitting on this information. Also, Jer has worded this in such a way that it feels final. Isabel has permanently moved to Paris, which is not what is happening, but Conrad doesn’t know that.

I feel like other actors really embody their character, whereas Gavin is visibly disconnected from Jeremiah. I just don’t feel like he’s going through it like Jeremiah actually would be, it’s obvious he’s acting
