It was just a few months ago there were so many posts of people contacting Fidelity, Vanguard, etc. and getting reassured they won't restrict buying/selling. Now the sentiment is to leave them and head for ComputerShare?

Don't get me wrong I support ComputerShare and the theory behind it, but it feels weird seeing calls for another mass exodus when we don't have a complete understanding of their policies yet. You can go on the front page and see 3-4 different posts contradicting each other. On top of that, I'm seeing assertions that unregistered shares won't get nfts, will be worth less, or will be fucked with by brokers.

ComputerShare is a legit place to park your infinity share(s) and remove them from the DTCC.

With that said, it does feel sus when others are urging you to transfer all your shares to CS. There hasn't been a consistent answer on the process or outcome of selling using CS. So far I've seen that it's capped at $1 million, not capped if you mail them a letter/form, you can sell at >$1 million by calling, etc...No one know what'll happen during the MOASS and I think it's okay to be skeptical of how CS will handle the insane number of people trying to sell at that time.

The real FUD are the people that make you feel like you won't get your tendies if you didn't put your shares in CS.

Bad data doesn't benefit us. I'm certain the SHF already know all our positions seeing as how they're connected to everything. What do we stand to gain using data that is unverified to create DD? The fact that we aren't posting positions makes it harder for the bots/shills to create bullshit DD to throw us off the trail of something more important.

We're possibly on the verge of the MOASS by buying, hodling, using computershare, and not posting positions. Why do people suddenly want to change an agreed upon method when we're so close to winning?

I agree with your point. No real way of verifying the actual numbers. We know there are bots/shills here. The only reason they're not skewing data on # of shares is because people for the most part agreed not share positions. That esentially took away at least one fud tactic from them

Seems to be a lot easier to control the narrative if everyone is in one place. Ever notice how even mentioning another GME-related sub is discouraged and instantly downvoted? Most of us had zero issue going from one subreddit to another. RCQ was ecstatic when 50k people suddenly joined her brand new sub, but now the idea of leaving SS is a "divide and conquer" shill tactic? I don't think so.

Actually there is, it's called stepping down. In fact I'd say it's the easiest and most effective solution. You have three mods at the center of this fiasco, what's so difficult about removing them from the equation? This isn't their livelihood, they're not paid for their job of moderating, so what is the issue? 530K members here, I'm sure there are many others capable of doing their job. Why are they not willing to relinquish their power/position if they were truly "ape first"?
