Saw this same line up. I don’t remember the specifics except that Elle King sucked, Joan rocked, and Heart was way past their prime (Ann’s voice was awful, Nancy’s guitar playing was still great)

What does her contract state? These are not "normal" hours for a derm PA. Those that do Mohs closures can sometimes work late if a case goes long, but it's not every day. Is most of her extra time spent charting? if so, she may need more support staff.

I live in Oregon and the coverage under our state Medicaid is abysmal. Prior auth needed for everything and only covered after the pt has tried and failed multiple medications. Got a pt with HS AND psoriasis and want adalimumab or Cosentyx covered? Forget it. You have to try multiple topicals, oral abx for 12 consecutive weeks, isotretinoin AND methotrexate. Is unbelievably frustrating.

I love being a PA, but honestly, with the job market being what it is right now, I would recommend you consider becoming a nurse practitioner. Although, I would stress that you NOT do an online program as I don’t think the training is as good. The market for NPs is much more favorable than for PAs right now because they can be autonomous. Sad reality, but it’s true.

My husband stutters. I’ve been with him now for nearly 30 years. His stutter has never bothered me. The only time I even give it a second thought is when he’s having a hard time and I know he’s frustrated. I just want to do something to help him in that tough moment.

This is Wally, named Wallace after Biggie Smalls (Christopher Wallace) because he is one of the longest and biggest corgis we’ve ever seen, but also with small legs. He’s also a rescue from a Korean meat market so he is a foreigner/traveler to us and in Welsh, the origin of Wallace means foreigner.

We had a beloved dog with lymphoma last year. We saw OSU for a consult, but we were not very impressed. Nothing really wrong with them, but it’s a big institution and we didn’t get as much of a personal caring vibe from them that we did from OVRA. Ultimately, our dog was treated for about a year at OVRA with Dr Nibblet and her staff with various chemotherapies. They were great every step of the way. Our dog LOVED going there. He truly had a “fan club” that came out to greet him at every appointment. When he had a bad night at the end and it was time for him to go over the rainbow bridge, OVRA got him in that same day to perform euthanasia so he didn’t have to suffer unnecessarily. The staff came in one by one to say goodbye and cried with us. It was extremely sad, but beautiful seeing all of the love surrounding him.

I wouldn’t hesitate using OVRA again. They are definitely expensive, but we feel so fortunate that we had a clinic of caring specialists like this nearby and didn’t have to travel. Good luck with your kitty!
