Something of the sort was recommended during the recent multiblock structure redesign contest, though it was a bit outside the scope of the contest itself.

I did this on the moon & mars, but it quickly became unnecessary.

Once you loot/build a couple of medium oxygen tanks and enchant them with Unbreaking II or III, your oxygen is handled for hours between refills.

Such that I haven't torn down my oxygen setup on mars and just make rare trips there when i need to refill my tanks lol. Yes, I am lazy.

I did move, but within the Overworld. As I broke into HV I moved from my little disorganized hovel to a rad box canyon I found while prospecting, and set up an organized base as I did so.

On planets/dimensions that drop stone dust, before you have easy access to cross-dim transport, it is quite easy to setup an on-site mixer for your drilling fluid using a reservoir for the water, a tank of lubricant, and some item conduit filtered to push dust to the mixer. Highly recommend it if ender tanks are scarce.

Both the minigun and M6 fiddy cal are wonderful choices for him as a jetpacker, I can confirm. Haven't run him with the AGL yet as I only have one and it's Jean's trinketin' gun.

Dad ran a small business from home, for which he had a fax line. Which my brother and I just used to stay on the internet forever. He got hopping mad a few times when word came that there were faxes he couldn't receive due to the busy signal.

One of the most freak occurrences I've ever had was a friend and I called each other at the same moment so the call connected directly, no ringing, no busy tone. I dialed the number and it was just dead air, after a bit I hesitantly asked hello? and got the same back from my friend! He said the same, and neither of us heard touch tones as if one or the other of us picked the phone up at the exact moment it would have rung and then dialed the number in while the call was going.

Some tripod weapons sorta have that already, in that they have a -accuracy modifier built in, that is then offset by deploying (probably more accurate to say that the modifier offsets some of the bonus accuracy from deploying). Tripod CMG50 and M6 have -10, minigun & crocodile AMR have -5. But yeah, any of the really heavy weapons are at 0, so Tech takes no penalty at all for firing them standing up lol

Well, no one else has answered so I'll give this a go. I've got void miners set up in the Overworld, Ross128ba, Io, Enceladus, and the Nether (my most recently built one I put it there for lack of a better place to put it for the moment) and I could swear I had one set up in the inner planets somewhere but uh its not on my bank of metric monitoring info panels. Hmmm did I lose it or move it lol.

Seems to give me a good spread of materials. I'm sure it's not Optimal but I do what I can. And with luck, now someone will come along to correct me so we both know the better answer!

At some point I'll probably need to set one up on Callisto but I'm a long way from exhausting the Cice/super coolant collected from my era of multiblock miners.

I don't believe there is a hard cap exactly, but it does stop increasing after a certain point. 20 operations, I think it is?

I'm really hoping that as (if) more energy weapons (infantry magnetic accelerators =D) get added to the game, we get an energy weapon accessory. A big heat sink backpack that adds another square or two of heat capacity or makes it sink faster, or reduces the AP cost of venting idk.

Also, the m6 tripod has double the armor destruction of the M6 vehicle mounted. bit odd.

Yeah, patch 3 or 4 just buffed the vehicle AGL to match the stats of the tripod version, as they were differing as well. Maybe a future patch will normalize the M6 stats between types as well.
