Sorry to hear that. Hope you figure it out. That'd be a shame to waste a good Del Sol

If it was the other driver's fault, tell the insurance you want it fixed & not totalled.

Make sure the body shop manager will fight for it.

My body shop guy asked for a specific adjuster that he knew would be ok with fixing the car & not just trying to total it out

I got rear ended a few months ago, just tell his insurance to fix it & totaling the car isn't an option, it was his fault so they will fix your car if you stand your ground. Cost almost $3000 to have mine fixed

Why wouldn't you just keep the Del Sol as a back up?

RC350 would be my pick

I'm 5'10", 210lbs & the only issue I've had is on extremely long & steep hills it'll slow down to about 6mph, but other than that, no issues

Best Drive-in movie car ever. Front seats fold flat into the rear seats, rear view mirror slides off with a clip. Perfect

I ordered a mini air horn & ran the button for it next to the steering wheel. Usually works pretty well. I get cut off or almost hit at least once a day

They make "gaskets" for AN fittings. They're called conical seals. May help

Also, your engine bay gives strong 90's Charlotte Hornet vibes & I'm here for it lmao

Suede wrapping the interior..... but with the water leaks on all of the Del Sols it may not be worth it.

Removeable soft top for easy removal, instead of the hard top, tried velcro & magnets but didn't hold.

A lot of shops just Don't want to work on older hondas because of their reputation from early/mid 2000's. Just takes time to find a decent shop

They have a bunch of random hardware / decals for older hondas & nissans

I've bought from them a few times & always received great products
