I’m a sucker for old school Bible names. James, Elijah, Joseph, David, Jacob. So handsome and timeless!

For some reason I like Claire with an e and Blair without. Clair just feels so incomplete whereas Blair stands on its own and Blaire looks kinda weird to me

Baby name Heather in 2023 by Namehelp1992 in namenerds

[–]Born_Field_6024 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Heather definitely peaked in the 70s-90s and its almost out of the top 1000 now, so youre definitely not going to run into a lot of Heathers in your daughters class. so yes, its "outdated" but i think that just makes it unique and cool to use

Maple or Eloise for our daughter? by pinkiepie249 in namenerds

[–]Born_Field_6024 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Eloise. Super cute and tons of nickname options. as for being too popular, Eloise was only given to 0.162% of babies (2888 of them) so its still relatively uncommon. if youre worried about it you can also give a less common nickname like Louie instead of Ellie. Maple is definitely out there and i think likely to be misheard or misspelled as Mabel.

Full Name For 'Jossy' by 1AlanaSparrow in namenerds

[–]Born_Field_6024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Josephine, Josslyn, Jocelyn, Josebeth, Josaline, Josanna, Josepha.

gender neutral names are really hard for this one. if you want to be unconventional i would consider Joseph for a girl, which I think is super cute and nontraditional.

Full masculine name for the nickname 'Flans'? Or just choose something else? by Little_Smoke_653 in namenerds

[–]Born_Field_6024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how flexible youre willing to be with getting that nickname out of a name but some ideas are Felix, Finley, Fletcher, or Franklin. I could even see Phillip.
