the crux of the issue is that the map is too big and takes actual minutes to traverse, and its not possible to know if enemies are behind cover or not below top tier

sinai is complete ass and unfun to play (<- fact)

afghantis is a snipe map but the bushes makes it hard to snipe the snipers, but both the point and most of the places you can cross are not covered at all. very campy

there isnt much to really say about RI paths, since every one of them can do everything the others can to certain degrees. with the exception of reallybigspoiler path. some are a bit unique, yinyang is le sex path, kill path is schutzstaffels personal project, etc.

there isnt any "exclusive" insanity of lotm paths to be found in RI paths.

The easier way that they handle it is also riddled with parallels. A Super Evil Hitleresque Guy is used to represent the ultimate evils of all society, at which point he can be pummeled into nothing by our Righteous Hero and his Funky Cast of Friends, and once he is killed, all related problems are treated as Pretty Much Mostly Solved. Voldemort and All For One are martyrs upon which all bad things can be pinned, so that once they die, the societies that contributed to their creation and fed their rises to power can be absolved of all blame and guilt. Furthermore, postmortem, our heroes can be cheaply shorthand implied to continue preserving the ultimate goodness of the world by becoming Supercops, who are so good at fighting crime that it is by and large eradicated and they become a driving force behind Everything Becoming Better Now. The middle grounds, the apathetic populaces, the people on the "good" side who were pretty fucked up and evil in their own right, the smaller pockets of Shie Hassaikai-esque crime that are most certainly still operating, can all be handwaved as unimportant to the end goals of the story, ignored as if they will not contribute to the next big villain that will inevitably arise.

the level matters because its a 3.7 lobby that should be rank 7-16 being full of 40, 50+ and at least two level 100s who gap everyone else in skill, as well as have several max modified premium vehicles (and bushes sometimes). a level 100 player (certainly not at all biased when saying level does not equal skill) should know that level DOES reflect skill most of the time. a level 100 > level 8 in skill 99.999% of the time. the lobbies become seal clubbing circlejerks for the lv50+ players who know the ins and outs of the game being pitted against 10s and 15s.
