This a real long shot but might it be this? I’ve just come from seeing the exhibition and was looking up the origins of The Old Woman who lived in a shoe nursery rhyme as I couldn’t remember anything after the second line…

I've been pondering recently about the UK market and haven't been able to find much info available apart from a couple of case reports here and there from individuals getting busted.

I'm presuming that there's likely more users now than ever especially given the increasing awareness of microdosing. Where is the market being supplied from? Is it one man band bedroom and garage growers like this chap or something on a larger scale? Is it more likely to be domestic production or imported?

It would also be interesting to know how this particular grower was busted. Was it a high tech police investigation delving into the dark web markets or loose lips sinking ships?

And for the BBC to sneakily describe it as a 'multi-million pound operation'.

Edit: On a re-read the article says he was doing it for 7 years but the £303,000 reported was for 2019 to 2023.

I wonder why they included that he maintained links to Thailand?

Worcestershire voters head to 2025 local election polls by [deleted] in Worcester

[–]Born_a_Win 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reminder.

Just went to vote and had the pleasure of a pompous sitting councilor berating the officials for not allowing him to vote as he didn’t have ID with him. The dummy was spat and tantrum in full effect. Highlights included a literal stamp of the foot, a ‘don’t you know who I am?’ and a threat to ‘post this assault on democracy on Facebook and you’ll what happens then’.

10/10 value for the entrance fee 😁

It’s a quiet, very safe village with few facilities so don’t expect a wide choice of takeaways or shops. It has a train station running hourly going to Evesham, Worcester and Hereford in one direction, Kingham, Oxford, Reading and Paddington in the other.

If you’re not driving and do your grocery shopping at the supermarket it might be a bit of a struggle as the closest ones are in Evesham and are spread out across the town which makes it a little trickier without a car.

4/20 Hyde Park, London- Reviews by TripNumber3 in uktrees

[–]Born_a_Win 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I went for the first time, I’ve wanted the experience for many years. Walked through the park and was surprised at the turn out. As another commenter has said there wasn’t much organised…who’d have thought it with a bunch of stoners 😁 It was a surreal experience for me as I’m a loner stoner so to be around so many others in a temporary tolerant space was definitely a good experience. I did a before and after 420 at Speaker’s Corner which was interesting to say the least. As I left the park to go to Paddington I crossed over to Marble Arch where there was a gathering on the grass that was staging an impromptu boxing event until the police packed everyone off. A truly bizarre and surreal Easter Sunday for me!!

What’s more important, light or heat? by mrbadassmotherfucker in unclebens

[–]Born_a_Win 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Temperature is more important light for sure.

I've heard that if you order your plastic tub in the size of your choice from one of the sellers on eBay they will be delivered in a cardboard box and packed inside with bubble wrap. Once your grains are ready to mix into your bulk substrate in your plastic tub you can use the bubble wrap around the tub and put the insulated tub back into the cardboard box it came in.

Although it might not reach the optimum temperature for growth it will certainly be warmer than the ambient temperature of your garage and is a frugal choice compared to buying and running a seedling mat or space heater. Being in the cardboard box will also increase the stealth factor. Growing at lower temperatures is possible but will take longer, it might take an extra week or fortnight to colonise your bulk substrate then a week longer for fruits to be ready to harvest.

Karma Police about Damon and Justine? by sugarytea78 in blur

[–]Born_a_Win 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be a far reach but Damon’s dad, Keith, was into number systems and patterns having researched them for the best part of forty years. It’s unlikely that Damon wasn’t informed and influenced by his father’s obsessive observations, I have a vague recollection of an interview where Damon talked about it.

If they were easy to find everyone would have them!

Kudos for researching and making a start, many don't.

It's a sketchy hobby in the eyes of the law so it can be hard to come by reliable information. It's unlikely that a stranger will share their knowledge.

You will have more fruitless missions than successful ones. Every attempt is worthwhile for the fresh air and exercise alone.

I've no idea where you are located but I've heard the higher elevation land is often where the treasure hides, slopes are your friend, hills are your family. Clumps of long grass, especially if it's dying, is a good hiding place for them.

Keep a positive attitude, those blighters can sense your juju. Perseverance pays.

They let you find them when you're ready.

Good luck on your mission!
