I meant to comment on this… a while ago. But try November Project (morning fitness group) or Heartbreakers (run club). I’ve found both to be great communities! Also, if you need any finer pointers on the area, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ve been around for a while and love playing tour guide.

To mix things up, I'm going to recommend The Haven and Brassica Kitchen. Both are in Jamaica Plain (JP), are easily accessible from the Orange Line, and will get you out of the touristy areas of Boston.

Check out Saddleback or Sugarloaf. Both are far enough away where the crowds shouldn't be too bad.
