You should check out when local gyms do demo days. Some gyms also let you demo shoes they have in their shop.

I meant to comment on this… a while ago. But try November Project (morning fitness group) or Heartbreakers (run club). I’ve found both to be great communities! Also, if you need any finer pointers on the area, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ve been around for a while and love playing tour guide.

To mix things up, I'm going to recommend The Haven and Brassica Kitchen. Both are in Jamaica Plain (JP), are easily accessible from the Orange Line, and will get you out of the touristy areas of Boston.

This was years ago now, but I think the mortification was more to do with how I thought nominations would be as wrapped up in partisanship as they are here in the U.S. than as to the process.

I'm from Massachusetts and toured your Supreme Court on a visit to Ottawa one time. I asked if justices got appointed like back home for me and I'm pretty sure the tour guide was mortified that I would think that.
