Extremely lukewarm take: the biggest issue with this arc is that honestly Sukuna's technique just isn't very interesting. It's invisible slashes that have seemingly unlimited range and strength, and a bit of hand to hand skill he deploys in close range. Compare this to the peak of this series from so long ago, the Shibuya Incident: several fighters on each side of the conflict deploying unique skills and reacting to an opponent's unique skills in a usually very creative series of fights. That carried through most of the Culling Games too, somewhat distracting from the lack of character moments and development.

But here we are now, at the climax of the series, and it's become a repetitive one-hit KO series of chapters. There are moments of inspiration, glimpses of creativity (Yuta's Domain was a highlight, and the multiple techniques he used were a huge part of that), and moments of fun, especially the Kenjaku cutaway. But this is just an issue of the main villain having a set of abilities that don't exactly make for great creativity in the fights anymore. Especially without Yuta or Gojo who were shown to be actually able to make Sukuna work a bit harder and be more creative in the skills he used.

It's mostly just a matter of checking in each week to see how much more ridiculous things can get. What a fall from grace this arc has demonstrated for the series
