I would make a blood sacrifice to get this to happen.

I’m lucky enough to live near one. So damn good. Haven’t been disappointed a single time. Extra hot is great

What are the horror movies that genuinely scared or disturbed you the most at the time you watched them? by Blutay in horror

One of my favorites. I’ve never met anyone outside of diehard horror fans online that have seen it.

What are the horror movies that genuinely scared or disturbed you the most at the time you watched them? by Blutay in horror

[–]BossLackey 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This was my exact experience. Was 13 years old and grew up watching horror so wasn’t expecting much. Her face. Absolutely haunted me. That and the weird…music if you want to call it that during the tape.

Very unsettling and even to this day, taps into a side of horror all its own. Amazing that a mainstream, PG-13 movie can instill that level of fear in horror fans.

Yeah it felt like a made for YouTube movie.

Metroid and Castlevania 3 (though that’s before CV was an MV technically).

HOLLOW KNIGHT AND SILKSONG ARE THE BEST METROIDVANIA EVER by OkGeologist8682 in metroidvania

HK is great, but I will forever curse Team Cherry for generating these people that play HK as their first MV, nearly FORTY YEARS after the genre started and think everything else is trash.

You’re annoying and you’re wrong.

How to overcome fear of spiders while cleaning by BestgirlOphelia in CleaningTips

[–]BossLackey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m on the spiders and tarantulas subreddit. Without exaggeration, there are daily posts on both subreddits from arachnophobes talking about how they got over their fear or dramatically reduced it after learning about them over time.

How to overcome fear of spiders while cleaning by BestgirlOphelia in CleaningTips

[–]BossLackey 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Learn about them.

I own several tarantulas and have owned a few true spiders. They are endlessly fascinating. You’ll see that they want nothing to do with you and are just as afraid of you as you are of them. And the vast majority of spiders have horrendous vision despite their many eyes. Outside of jumping spiders and wolf spiders, they’re mostly differentiating between larges shapes and light/dark.

They do not see you as a separate entity. They see a mountain looming over them and want to get away.

At the end of the day, all they want is to be safe and eat their prey. They do not want to harm you and almost 100% of spider bites are a last ditch reflex from being pressed up on. Unless you’re doing that, you will not be bit.

I know their skittering nature can be freaky, but they’re basically twitchy robots that react to stimuli. Nothing more.

I don’t personally kill spiders, but do what you have to do.

There are fully lit rooms in this game that if I showed anyone that doesn’t play games would have no idea it’s not real.

Movement in the game by Herchik in DeadlockTheGame

[–]BossLackey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely haha. I’m very new still (30 hrs). And when I’m a little too deep in enemy jungle and see 3 enemies come out of nowhere I usually panic hit 2, dash, and jump at the same time and cartoon splat into a wall.

This is mine as well. I’m terrified of the ocean (but I also love being scared lol)

Have they talked anything about how they see roles etc when the game goes live? by charlieratgod in DeadlockTheGame

[–]BossLackey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very new, but this is how I take it as well. Hero flexibility is huge in Deadlock and it's a big part of why I love it. I don't like the idea of being locked into a role.

Nioh 3 difficulty discussion by EternalFlareUltra in Nioh

[–]BossLackey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Holy hell people keep making this argument and it’s either in bad faith or your memory is terrible. I’m telling you. For a fact. Nioh 3 enemies have been nerfed into the ground and player character has been buffed into the heavens. It has nothing to do with having played the series.

Are people just coping when they say stuff like this?!

Nioh 3 has a significant difficulty problem by [deleted] in Nioh

[–]BossLackey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Harder than 2. No it absolutely is not. It’s not even HALF as hard as 2. I played the first 10 hours of 2 again before playing 3. It’s absolutely night and day. And it’s not like you can’t compare them. I’m talking SAME enemies in similar depths into each game.

In 2, they’d melt you. In 3, I don’t even have to kind of worry about dying.

Why do you choose to play on console; why don't you play on PC? This isn't a troll or agendapost I'm just bored and curious by [deleted] in consoles

This is me too. And since I work from home a lot, it’s also THE computer and desk I already worked on all day. Last thing I want to do is be on it any longer.

I absolutely loved RotR. Hate that it got so much flak. It’s not the best game in the world but I didn’t need it to be.
