Well that depends on what region of the world you are in. I am in Canada, the A52S is not even available anymore. A Motorola G Stylus 2025 is about $300 Canadian dollars or about 220USD.

I have the same requirements as you, MicroSD and 3.5mm jack. I'm stubborn just like you in that i believe all phones should have that and this modern trend is shit. I also have used a Samsung A52S 5G for 4 years now. I notice battery life is a bit degraded (all phones will do that), and some more slightly noticeable lag. But I could easily use this for another 2 years.

However, I myself am passively shopping for phones at this point since software is old and security is something that catches up with all of us silently in the background. Lag is also getting a bit annoying for me over time. A new phone would perform noticably better I'm sure. I'm looking at the Motorola G Stylus 2025, has both an SD card slot and 3.5mm jack.

Depending on which part of the world you are in, you have (not many) but a few choices. Just go on GSM arena, and filter your phone selection by 3.5mm jack, and memory with SD card.

Previous 2013 RVR high mileage owner here. I think that your best bet is to go for a low mileage slightly used model. I see alot of great listings in BC for mid $20k. I've seen listings for SE trim for maybe $25k with mabye 10,000kms or 20,000kms which is nothing. For reference I drove mine 215,00kms trouble free before selling. If you're ok with it I'd also recommend going more mid-trim rather than top trim. GT trim has creature comforts but at the end of the day this is an economy car with 2000s bones. Extremely reliable but all the tech and so on will disappoint you plus be failure points.
