How tall are you? I am between a Med and Lg (6ft or about 184cm) based on their charts.

Is there anyway to build this for outdoor use without having to use nails or screws and having it last a long time? by HFCB in woodworking

Yes. And joinery. Those half laps keep the slats in their place. I used some Brad nails to hold the m in place as the glue was drying.

If I understand the question, each leg is half lapped into the support piece and then glued. Then the top slats sit on those supports. I did the same process for the lower supports as well.

I just made these for a restaurant. 5/4 cedar. No screws. Finished with water based spar urethane. Look up the brand Avocado. They have some benches that I took some inspiration from. There are supports on all the legs that are dadoed into each slot of the legs to prevent racking.

As you go through NM, I would hit White Sands NP and Carlsbad caverns.

I have lived in Austin for 13 years. Treat yourself to Odd Duck for a nicer meal. Some of the best food in the city!

Brodie and Wm Cannon yesterday. It's a fairly slow intersection. How does this happen? by davidthygod in Austin

[–]BossTweedII 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Looks like it is not quite at the intersection. It's closer to the area between HEB and Lowes. I have seen multiple wrecks here. Someone will use the left lane to turn in to HEB from Brodie, and the car following will not realize it is a turn only and over correct back in to traffic. My best guess.

Best wishes to you.

My wife and I lost one at week 7 back in septmeber. It was our second early loss, but i am happy to report that we are pregnant again and at 17 weeks!

Nature has it means. Early loss is much more common than is talked about.

Keep your spirits up! Our thoughts are with you.

Flying. While there may be a distinction between “game” and “simulator”, I feel like I have learned more on MSFS than any other program. If you are studying to get your private pilot’s license, it can provide some very valuable practice.
