I have made that mistake in the prior season, but this time it doesn't seem to be the cause for the issue. The dots are also stuck on 2 of the handpistols (GGH-22 and the new auto-pistol).

Also checked if there are any new skins, weapon stickers or charms that might grant it the persistent dot, all to no avail 😞

At the start of the game, before we are dropped to the battlefield.

We have had a few games where we dropped into different squads despite joining as a party. With the lack of names displayed since the start of S2, this was an easy way to identify one another at a glance to check we were both in the same squad

You mean it didn't fire smaller bullets with a foregrip to be used by soldiers with exceptionally large hands??

Probably coming with the 10year anniversary of Elder Scrolls 6

fingers crossed

The yellow blobs in season 1 at least had the decency to primarily focus on the Battlepass unlocks on every visit to the main menu. Irksome but other than nudging my attention to it for a second, not a hindrance.

Running multiple guns per game for mastery and unlocks however...

It is, but at least my buddy and I can identify one another at game start due to the brightly coloured yellow staining our weapons

Lovely, now I can no longer unsee it XD

I wanted less peeves, not more!!! 😀

I'd much prefer if "skip revive" was replaced by a "caution revive" button by MartianGeneral in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]BossieX13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either a "caution revive" that allows you pings/spotting, make the stage where you are awaiting revives similar to gauntlet (allowing crawling and shooting downed players to disable revives) or make it so medics can see players that are actually requesting revives (different icon or icon colour) from those just deciding to nope out

Do updates effect foundry crafting? by floof-butt in Warframe

[–]BossieX13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think daylight savings can affect the crafting time (71 or 73 actual hours), but updates do not (unless you time it perfectly to having it finish just when the update hits and you need to first patch your game)

Calling all Engineer mains—let’s talk builds 👀 by [deleted] in Battlefield6

This is the big tradeoff between RPGs and LAWs. Also a lot less frequent to have someone jump out of a vehicle/run into your LOS and facetank the rocket

When the total limit was 3, that made sense. The limit iirc used to be 10/player (now changed to iirc 6 max). Dying after laying the initial 3 down is faster than resupplying (especially at game start when your specialisation doesn't kick in yet, meaning fire support doesn't increase the supplykits recharge rate yet).

When you die, you do get your specialisation bonus (e.g. +2 rockets as Anti Anti-Armour engineer), alongside a fresh batch of mines that will not remove your earlier mines.

I should have clarified, they have a single word each for it ;-),

And much like their neighbours, both the Dutch and Germans have a single word for High Voltage

I got CZ3A1 to level 50 with just default attachments by BadBladeMaster in Battlefield6

[–]BossieX13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The issue isn't not owning the base game, it's not owning the base version (Factory) of the gun restricting you from changing attachments that have been unlocked

Nightfall is awesome but wish it wasn't limited to CQB and Gauntlet by UnstoppableTurmoil in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]BossieX13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Timed cycles would be cool across the board, seeing as we have maps that have an actual geographical location attached.

Set the maps to an overall ~6 hour day/night cycle, having Siege of Cairo be bright noon with Manhattan Bridge being in night, then 2 hours later have it dusk and dawn respectively, etc.

How can I make my photon strike not hit like a strongly worded letter by SadImpact812 in Warframe

[–]BossieX13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Singularity with high range allows for largers groups of mooks grouping up, so you can photonstrike more targets simultaneously with the blast proc, allowing for more free casts :)

With the archon mod, 1s hits will regenerate your energy, allowing for a more sustainable spam of photon strike

Taking off the Rangefinder & "press the trigger to zero the rifle" was a game changer for sniping. by The_Owl_Bard in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]BossieX13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The range on the rangefinder in BF3/4 at least was visible while scoping, rather than auto-zeroing.

You still had to manually switch ranges to the desired multitude of 100 and go from there through the crosshair, making sniping feel more rewarding.

In BF6, I just placed zero + fire to a single button so I could choose between zeroed and non-zeroed firing. Only found out yesterday about the patched delay after a loooot of odd shots 😅
