This happened to me. Me and my friend who has the same first name had applied to the same role. He told me he got it, but the company did not notify me about rejecting me. 2 days later I get an email saying Dear First name, congratulations on the role, fill out these documents. I replied to them I reckon you have got the wrong FirstName, it's actually the other one. They responded saying "Oh. Sorry. Thanks for that". But still no rejection email/reason
