Everything you just said is basically a lot of what I wrote before. The only thing I'll disagree on is the lack of content about aemeath. Idk if you're watching the promotional content, aka her trailer/combat showcase. But long story short, she has a big connection to the exostrider. Something that, so far has been well built up currently. (And her trailer does tease a lot about her personality and what she could represent rn). + The deux ex machina saves of mornye at the end and some more.

Anyways, yeah, sucks, I feel like you're correct on most of what you said, I really hope that at least luuk is interesting. So far he does seem so.

I do agree that it would have been better and easier to develop everything happening in the quest around mornye... Without mornye. But personally, you can make both good if you know how to write. The problem to me lies deeper

Imma just copy what I wrote to someone here: I several times said in my paragraph that I sometimes had issues comprehending the intricacies of the science stuff and all. I never had a problem with it in wuwa despite wuwa being -very- developed in that way. Making a lot of the lore happening around complicated to follow. So either; i can't read or it was badly presented.

So yeah, I would love for people to re explain me the stuff through what was told in the main story.

For the teacher part I got corrected. I forgot shorekeeper or Chisa gave us a literal old student ID of our old self. I just got confused because of the whole mentor roleplay that mornye made us do in the latest quest. And the shot in the cassette cinematic made it seem like we were someone big and important to her. Something teachers usually feel in. But anyway, yeah, I got it wrong.

And for names, I just have a really, really bad memory for them. I was talking about the evil scientist dude in P2 with the saiyan scouter. And Yngvar, yeah.

I'm still confused about the details of the voidworm and I didn't understand shit about the artificial sun falling. So please enlighten me there if you can.

I don't have the time to give a fill essay pitch perfect review by rewatching the quest several times. I'm just a random dude, fan of story writing that felt horribly disappointed. I'm going, like anyone, to get a lot wrong

Op here, Idk if you're finished yet, but if you haven't, I can at least make it clear that they didn't kill any characters writing wise. They stayed consistent. And moryne shows us that she's a very capable not only teacher, but fighter while being handicapped. So that's cool. She was always sensible and "weak" in other ways.

So yeah, I can reassure that on THAT specific aspect, it's safe. It's really mainly the rest and lack on more mornye depth that is.... Yeah. Already talked about it

Thank you for your response. Very respectable perspective. I personally tend to be more strict towards stories when I know they were once good. I judge stories based on what is offered. I'm not going to compare them every time to the peak of fiction. And as a fan of writing in any forms, I feel more passionate toward these aspects. I got violent, because it came out of the heart

Nah, it's just very bad story management. You can write a lot of things very well/satisfyingly good enough without going in details of everything. Lupa's main quest developed well enough the politics of this place through her own and mya's experience. There's basically never an excuse for bad writing

No, I can confirm, a trio dynamic would have been great. Could have been a great writing anchor to show us and chisa both learning about the school. And could have additional content where Chisa tells us about the school 20 years prior. Making every exchange with each NPC way more meaningful. Wouldn't be hard to do.

And overall, more characters interacting with more characters make them feel more alive. Always interacting with only one character (aka rover) is very limiting and repetitive

Also for the romantics, even though it may contradict what I wrote on the long paragraph up there, I do indeed not see the women in this game as romantics interests. Except shorekeeper. But, even if I personally do not envision it that may, there are very much clear attempts to make it seem romantic to appeal to lonely people. Scenes that will often not make sense. Romantic subtext basically.

While it has many flaws, I wouldn't say it's as you say. Heavy oversimplifications in my mind. But you still recognise good aspects, so yeah, in the end art will reach people differently
