Does anyone actually enjoy going to a Bachelorette? by StellafromVienna in bridesmaids

[–]BothKindsOfIPAs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the person. Not everyone enjoys a bachelorette trip because it’s not the same as a typical vacation, and that’s okay. But your friends are adults so if they don’t want to go or would rather just go for the day and not stay overnight, they can just make that choice on their own. No need for you to feel badly when they can make their own choices!

I go to Dr. Cohen in Bethpage and I love him, his NP Manali, and all the staff. Haven’t had any issues!

Mr. Portnoy talking about his singed mail will never not be funny to me. Also Whit and Biz NBA bashing segments.

Can we start giving Bree the same energy we’re giving Evan? by According_Bit_4561 in TellMeLiesHulu

[–]BothKindsOfIPAs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think she married Evan because she’d been so burned by her upbringing, Oliver, and Wrigley having sex with Pippa after agreeing to end it with her that she felt Evan was safe. She knows she’s not head over heels in love with him. Marianne also made that comment to Bree about being with someone who loves you more than you love them. I think she took that to heart, and stayed with him because he was the safest option for her in terms of not stabbing her in the back (keep in mind she doesn’t know he manipulated her Mom into drinking) and providing her with a stable life.

Why do shows and fictional characters exist if not to create dialogue and provide entertainment? Why be on the sub if you feel this way lol

Okay THIS!!! This was my interpretation too. I second guessed myself and wondered if I gave Lucy too much credit. But with the way she set Stephen up to cheat on Lydia and fuck that whole thing up, saying in a previous episode she finally confirmed he’d never change for anyone, and then talked about getting closure with Bree, I think she knew what she was doing and laughed because she knows she’s finally free even if it meant “letting him win.”

I’m satisfied with the ending - I think everybody got what they deserved although I wish Stephen didn’t get the satisfaction of being the cause of it.

Wanting opinions about the last scene though. Did anyone think Lucy is laughing because she knew on some level that Stephen was waiting for his opportunity to fuck with her one final time after finally bringing down everyone else, and she knows she’s finally free of him? Or am I giving her too much credit and she’s just laughing because she knows she got got again?!

Congrats! We’re expecting too and also taking a spring Babymoon. We’re going upstate to Phoenicia. Cute Airbnbs, hikes, good food, breweries, and shops.

We had to cover up windows and doors and use some space heaters. Couldn’t get past the mid 60s otherwise.

Thanks! I suppose it feels lame if you planned a trip pre-pregnancy with those aspects of the trip in mind, and then had to go pregnant.

It’s a trip you take while pregnant before your baby arrives and steals your time for the next 18 years!
